Highly Recommend a Private Tour

Bun our Tour Guide and Sal our Driver did and excellent job. We were able to determine how fast we wanted to go throught the temples and along with how much information and history we wanted to know about. They were very courtious and made sure we watched our step as we move through the various temples. We were here in the dry season so it wasx very hot but there was not a lot of people so it allowed us to get the photos we wanted without thousand of other people being in them. Buy your tickets on line and then have them on your phone much easier and do not have to worry about losing ticket as they are continually checked everywhere you go

The tour was great. Sak and the driver offered great service. We got unlimited amount of water and also the cold towels multiple times. Sak told us a lot of interesting stories and facts. The restaurants, where we had our breaks, weren't good... Don't forget the hat! It's a game changer for sure.

I liked the small pink sandstone temple best of all. It was not as impressive size wise but the carvings in the pinky coloured sandstone are far better preserved

Best trip to Angkor Wat

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the 2 day tour with Bun as our tour guide and Naro who was our driver. My Bun was extremely generous and knowledgeable about the rich history of Cambodia that stretched back over a 1000 yrs. There was no question that Bun couldn't answer with regards to the temples incl. source of material, duration for construction, various gods etc. Bun was also an excellent photographer, taking some very happy family snaps. The care that was taken of us during some very hot and oppressive conditions was very much appreciated by the family incl. the cool towels, supply of water bottle. The highlight of the trip was visiting the Pink temple and Angor Wat. I highly recommend this tour and especially Bun and Naro.

Our guide Wan (Tracy) was absolutely wonderful! We gave her some ideas of what we wanted to experience and she did it all. We ate amazing dim sim, visited markets, ferried across Victoria Harbor and saw and experienced Hong Kong just the way we wanted!
2D Temples Tour with Bun and Song

It was by chance that we booked the two day tour with Journey Cambodia and I would highly recommend the company and their package to anyone who wants to have a guided temple tour in Cambodia. Mr. Bun and Mr. Song were our very excellent guides. Bun not only shared his immense knowledge of Cambodian temples but he shared much about the history of Cambodia. It was truly a very educational experience. He also took the time to show and allow us to experience Cambodian culture. Not to forget Song, who drove us everywhere in his comfortable and clean vehicle. He always ensured we were well hydrated and looked after our wellbeing. Wow. Just wow. No hyperbole here, not only will you be taken to one of the most amazing wonders of this planet, our guide (Mr. Bun) and our driver (Sal) made this experience even better than we were expecting. They helped explain each and every temple visited providing very valuable information along the way, and were extremely patient when we wanted to experience the temple for a little longer. Though, the time provided at every stop was very reasonable on itself. This experience proves the importance of having not a good, but an excelente guide and how much better it makes the experience.

Our guide was Bun and our driver was Sal, both were excellent. Bun has over 30 years of experience as a tour guide and he knows all of the history, best places to visit, where all of the "5 star bathrooms" are located, and he is amazing. Sal is an incredible driver. We had the most wonderful 2 day experience with them, including a sunrise photo at Angkor Wat that is perfectly composed thanks to Bun knowing exactly where to sit, wait, and watch the sun rise.

Vantha was the best! He showed and explained everything, while being flexible to accommodate the varied interested of our group. The driver always had the van ready and cold when we finished touring a temple in 100 degree heat. Cold water and wet towels were handed out consistently. We have never felt so taken care of, and it was at a time when we needed it the most. Trust me, tuk tuks are cute, but we would have died without the consistent breaks from the heat. I have never felt heat like Cambodia If you are ever going to splurge, do it here! And use Vantha! Terrific guy!

Private tour was the way to go. Our guide went at our pace and we were able to see the highlights with a fantastic historical perspective and informative guide. The two days were perfectly planned (although we did not find a lot of value in the sunrise at Angkor Wat, but personal preference). He was also patient when we had some stomach issues and needed to slow down a bit. Overall, this complex is the crown jewel of Cambodia and a 2 day tour cannot be missed

Our guide Sarak took us to the most amazing places and explained how and why they were built, and the stories depicted. Hé gave us just enough détail to bring it all to life without overwhelming us. Angkor Wat at sunrise was just brilliant, but each site was spectacular in its own way. Sarak very kindly has sent us some marvellous vidéo reminders of the tour which we will treasure. They encapsulate his expertise and good humour. We cannot thank or recommend him enough.

Fabulous! A guide and aircon minibus make it a much better experience

We went on the group tour with our guide Sokapee and driver Kael, both of whom were excellent. It is a godsend to be able to come back to an air conditioned minibus with cold water and the occasional cold face towel. The Angkor Archaeological Park is vast (216 temples) across 400km2. Tours naturally will focus on the "best" sites, and we saw 11 I believe over 2 days. On day 2 you see the more complete (and well known) temples. The 4am start on day 2 is well worth it, not just for the sunrise, but it is cooler. Tips: Definitely go with a guide Make sure you buy your ticket before online (you can do it on the day, but the whole bus will be waiting for you....) Men - you can wear shorts. No need to wear long trousers. They are stricter about women, so knees need to be covered. One of our tour had here expensive ear-rings stolen by a monkey. They literally knew how to remove the back! I would not have believed it was possible! We only saw monkeys at one temple, but if they are there, leave belongings on the bus or in pockets. Wear decent footwear (e.g. sandals with grips or trainers/sneakers) as there is a fair bit of walking, uneven surfaces and vertiginous steps.

Excellent tour

I splurged on a solo tour, which was a little expensive, but worth it in that the tour went at my pace. My tour guide was Mr. Muon Monirom, who was extremely knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. He explained many of the carvings, the history of the Khmer people and his own experiences under the Khmer Rouge. He also has plenty of photo ideas. Our driver was also excellent, ensuring I had cold water and a cold wet towel after each stop. The first day was pretty much a full day of seeing temples. We also got to see the Landmine Museum, a unexpected but welcome detour, as well as walked along a village and got to see the country life a bit. The second day was the big temples, Angkor Wat, Ta Prohm and Bayon. We left at 4:40 in the morning to catch the sunrise at Angkor Wat, so be ready to get up early.
