Great tour with a fantastic guide!

Guide Sam and Driver Phat were fantastic! Sam has been giving tours for 15+ years, his English is excellent, and he was very knowledgeable about the temples, what is represented in carvings and decoration, and what the history of historical preservation is in the area. He took me to the three main major temples and a couple quick-stop minor ones, always made easy conversation, and—even though I rarely take many photos—suggested some great photo locations and took quite a few of me that turned out surprisingly great. He clearly knew many of the guides and temple security staff and I could tell that he was taking me via routes that avoided some of the choke points and let me experience the temples without having to navigate as many people. Would highly recommend this tour operator and Phat and Sam!

Some amazing buildings but sad for some of the devastation caused by nature and the trees.

We loved this trip, Bun our guide was so helpful and knowledgeable. I would 100% recommend this trip, seeing the temples with a guide was really informative. It is very hard going in the heat but Bun reorganised the itinerary to help us avoid the heat. The temples were amazing, in hindsight starting the trip at sunrise to avoid the heat might have been better. Our guide also took amazing photos and the lunch place was great too, 100% recommended, well worth it

Unbelievable tour! A must do for any history enthusiast! Our guide Thien who not only told us all about the places we visited but became our personal photographer getting some spectacular shots was an amazing host. The driver Phat was also very good and kept us on time and hydrated also providing ice cold towels to keep us cool in the red hot weather. Please do not book any other tour! This is a must for any tourists, travellers, and those with a lust for history.

A must do tour from Siem Reap - to get the best from the visit, a guide is a must - our guide Mao was excellent and we learned more about the temples, the history of the sites and the importance to Cambodia than we ever would if we had done this on our own. What was really important is that we had a driver, Mr Sreang, who took us to each of the temples and kept us supplied with water and cold towels. As it was 37°c when we visited that was most welcome!!

Great experience! Our guide (Mao Sroeb) was extremely knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. Our driver was always on time and met after every stop with a cold bottle of water and cooling wash cloths. He even provided shade umbrellas. A satisfying and educational tour. Do not hesitate to book.

Beautifully orchestrated experience

The tour was a marvellous experience. All the sites we visited were beautiful. The sunset from the cliff too. And the way the tour was planned made us really happy of our choice because we got the chance to find out, in my opinion, the biggest part of Cambodia’s ancient history. Of course in one day you don’t get to see the beauty of all the country, but the tour was definitely worth the money. Apart from this, Vanna the tourist guide and Hay the driver were great! Vanna made the tour really interesting, not only informed us thoroughly for the way every temple was built, the era it was built, the mythology behind and the living status while building, but he also replied to each one, I repeat, each one of our requests. Hay was a very careful driver, knew the road by heart, always waiting us with a smile, kept the car clean and tide, ready to help with everything! Their politeness and will to assist us were a great plus. These two persons definitely upgraded our tour experience. Personally, I would be happy if I visit Siem Reap again and get another of your proposed tour with them.

Our tour guide Chandra is very professional and as a senior i am glad we opted for private tour so we can go at our own pace. I know you don’t want to discourage would be client but giving more details for seniors would be very helpful plus how tougher it is in very hot weather.

We had a fantastic tour of all major temples that started at 8:15, when we could do it without yawning all the time. Thean was probably born to be a tour guide. His lively, upbeat narrative with a healthy dose of humor and self-deprecation was fun and informative. We saw all the major sights, and Thean provided a lot of historical data, context and explanations (including for scenes presented on the walls at various temples), and also pointed to all the best points to take photos. He took very professional photos of us. The site selection was also optimal. The logistics was impeccable: we were picked up at 8:15 as promised, the car was clean, the driver was professional and courteous, and we've got an ample quantity of cooled water bottles and cool towels at every stop. Thumbs up, guys! Highly recommended.

"Wat" An Awesome Tour!

Our guide Chhay and driver Lay arrived at our hotel promptly at the scheduled time to pick us up. Chhay is very knowledgeable and gave us great information about some of Cambodia's history, some background information about the Siem Reap area and a little information about the culture and daily life of local people. The tours of the major temples went smoothly and Chhay navigated us through each one with skill and ease and told us the stories that were depicted in the stone carvings on temple walls. He knew exactly where we needed to be to get that perfect picture and he takes awesome pictures as well. Not only did we have an extraordinary personal guide, but we got a great photographer too. Our driver made sure we were always refreshed by providing cold drinking water and cold, wet face cloths whenever we needed them. The tour was truly amazing and we took away some great memories. Thank you very much Chhay and Lay.

We had an amazing time with Mr. Sam our tour guide and Mr. Phatt our driver. The scenery was incredible and Mr Sam did a great job taking photos. We learned a lot and we heard new jokes. It was a great experience and I highly recommend this tour and ask for Sam if you want a great time.

Awe-inspiring private tour of all amazing temples in one day

Our guide (Mao) and drive (Sambo) were both excellent. They were always smiling and polite and both spoke very good English. Mao thoroughly explained the history, culture and many interesting folklores about Hindu and Buddhism, as well as the background how each temple was built. It was one of the most interesting, awe-inspiring trips that we have ever taken. You will be amazed by the vast size of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Ta Prohm (Angelia Jolie's "Tomb Raider" movie location), and many other temples and archeological sites. We visited there in January, but it was very hot in the afternoon, so you should wear comfortable, loose clothing. A pair of sneakers is a must since you will be walking most of the time. The tour provided plenty of iced water and cold towels, which greatly helped us cool down. We debated whether we should take a tuk-tuk or a car, and we were so glad we chose this trip with a car with AC. We skipped the sunset tour and went back to our hotel at around 4:30 (instead of 8pm). We were happy we did that because we were already so tired from the whole day of walking. If you want to immerse yourself with all the wonders of Siam Reap with a one-day, private tour in a comfortable car, this tour is for you. You will not regret it.

I hadn't realized on booking that this was a private tour, though that was not a bad thing - it meant we could move at my speed, and my guide (Thean) was able to adjust to my interests and knowledge; when we got ahead of schedule, he easily moved some things around and offered additional suggestions for the afternoon.

Easy to accomplish 1 day itinerary that hits the most famous ruins at an easy pace. Our lively guide Bullfrog was very informative, entertaining, kind and patient. He paid much attention to my elderly parents and helped them carefully navigate the uneven ruins. He was also an expert iPhone photographer who knew the best photo spots and tricks of the technology. Our driver was very attentive and kept the water coming on a very hot day.

I had a wonder private tour as a solo traveller with Vanna and driver Sam. Vanna was very knowledgeable and took the BEST photos! It's a hot day and they looked after me with lots of cold towels and cold water.

First and best Angkor Experience

We had an amazing exploration and experience in Angkor Wat today. Booked the tour just 2days ago with Happy Angkor Tour. The guide Mr Lonn Thou arrived on time to our hotel for pickup, and patiently waited and showed me how to book day pass online to skip the queue for tickets at entrance. He is fluent in English, knowledgeable with history and all the temples visited, and certainly knows where to take the best photos, where to go to dodge the crowds. And he is very caring and interactive to engage conversation with my teenage children to keep them interested. We always received cold face towels and drink water every stop when we returned to car to help us stay cool and hydrated. The car is clean comfortable and air-con is cold! After 10 days in Vietnam, I am deeply impressed and touched by Thou’s attentive and genuine service. I highly recommend Thou’s service and Happy Angkor Tour!
