What To Expect

Find your way to Strömkajen for your Stockholm bridges cruise. Climb aboard your vessel and find a relaxing spot to start your sightseeing journey; either on the open deck or inside the cozy cabin.

Circle the large island of Södermalm and pass the boulevards and quays of Stockholm’s buzzing new district of Hammerby Sjöstad. Savor the views as you pass the islands of Lilla and Stora Essingen, and cruise by the island of Djurgården with its woodlands, parks and museums.

Relax with a drink or snack from the on-board café (own expense) as you sail around some of Stockholm’s central islands and glide under 15 of the city’s picturesque bridges. Along the way, your boat passes through two locks that allow ships to navigate between Lake Mälaren to the west and the Baltic Sea to the east.

Absorb the panoramic views as you cruise close to the photogenic Gamla Stan (Old Town) and enjoy a fantastic vantage point over its colorful houses and historic churches.

Difficult in Cold Weather

We could not take photos as the windows were fogged, freezing cold on the boat. I was disappointed. I would not recommend in the winter.

It was a good boat experience however I would say that the whole journey could be performed within 1 hour instead of the almost 2 and a half hours. Interesting but too long and after a while it starts to be boring. Besides that, very good experience overall.

There were none. The boat design was terrible. The seats were turned and words. So you had to turn around to look out at the sites. It appeared that they were more concerned about selling their food and providing a tour.
