Marco our guide was great. Even brought us to see some kangaroos within the vineyards. We had a blast. Wish some of the winetasting took place outdoors to take advantage of the good weather though

Hunter valley experience

The tasting's were great. Our driver Patricia did not appear to know the areas very well and seemed inexperienced in driving the van. especially in the city traffic. We were also late to the first stop. She also was rude to a couple passengers. I would recommend the trip, however, not with this driver.

Great way to spend extra time in SYD

This tour was so fun. Our guide, Erin, was informative, friendly and kept us on schedule 😜. There were 11 people in our group, which was perfect. We had a great day sampling regional wines, cheese, chocolate and gin from the small, family run wineries in Hunter Valley. If you have a free day in Sydney, I highly recommend this trip.

Long day but action packed

Brendan the tour guide?? unsure if this is right was a fantastic driver/guide. Gave some local knowledge and insight into the areas we visited. Met some first-class people with similar interests on the day. Long day but action packed. Visited a number of wineries, ate chocolate, sampled gin and had some cheese. Lunch was provided - rustic pizzas surrounded by great vistas of the valley under a pergola of vines

Boutique wineries!

Loved the boutique wineries and hearing the passion of the winemakers. The scenery was fantastic, the lunch spot was beautiful and had great pizzas! Erin was a wonderful guide We did not care a lot for the distillery portion as it didn’t have the boutique feel and didn’t discuss much about their process. Lots of flavored spirits, and a couple were pretty good.

Perfect Day Trip from Sydney!

What a spectacular day! The Dave for the day, Greg, was a phenomenal guide. He was funny, knowledgeable, and kept the group engaged. The day went Wine, Wine Lunch, Distillery, Wine - so much fun! The vineyards had great tastings, the distillery was very fun. The wine pairing with chocolate was not to be missed. Couldn't have asked for a better day!

Wonderful Saturday in Hunter Valley with Colin

Enjoyed the day with superlative and organized guide Colin! Our group of 19 included guests from New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, Japan, and the United States. We stopped first at Oakvale for a comprehensive range of tastings led by Aiden. Then, a lovely al fresco lunch at Bimgaden for wood-fire pizza, salad, and their citrus-forward 2023 Growers Semillon (their building looked like Robert Mondavi in Oakville, California). Then, the large group was split in half for a chocolate tasting at Hunter Wine Lab and a wine and cheese pairing at McCaffrey Estates with the affable Chris. Our final stop was at a unique shimmering gin and vodka offering at Small Mouth, which resulted in “polarizing” opinions but good fun nonetheless. Chris was accessible, accommodating, and even found some wild ‘roos for us to capture photos! We made it safely back to Sydney on time at 7pm as advertised, despite a bit of traffic. Well done, Dave’s Tour and Colin!

Terrific tour

Our driver/guide Colin was excellent. The pickup and drop off was stress free and we thoroughly enjoyed the wineries and distillery. Lunch was an assortment of brick oven pizzas and salad, all of which were very good. We would definitely recommend this tour

Really enjoyed our visits to some excellent wineries. The tastings were fun and informative. We especially liked visiting the smaller vineyards and the pairings with lunch, cheese and chocolate. Highly recommend this tour.

Great way to spend a summer day!

I enjoyed the entire day! The wineries were beautiful, the wines were all very good and the winery hosts were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Lunch was so good and the wines served with lunch were exceptional. I loved the wine and cheese pairings, and the wine & chocolates were perfectly paired. The vodka, gin and liqueur distillery was a perfect way to end the day in AUSTRALIA’s wine country. I will definitely buy a few bottles of the vodka and the liqueurs at the duty free shops at the Sydney airport on my return flight to the States. Lastly, our tour guide was friendly, very knowledgeable and was a great driver! Thank you for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this tour.

Erin is absolutely FAB .From sourcing the BEST coffee before we even left to dropping us off close to our accommodation on return . We had such an enjoyable relaxing day in lovely company. All our questions were answered and there was NO feeling of being rushed . I would thoroughly recommend . Just sorry we didn't book rocks ( pub ) tour also but we ran out of days

Hunter Valley winery tours

This was a wonderful experience. I would have given it 5 stars if the driver/guide had talked about the scenery/Australia on the drive to the wineries. With that said, having a small group is the way to go. The wineries were fascinating as were the hosts. I would have preferred to skip the gin/vodka distillery and has another winery instead. Good experience for the money. I highly recommend it.
