Worthwhile sites, try another company
Kelly_S, Aug 2022
While the sites were worthwhile, there were many things that put a damper on the day. The first stop at a Bethlehem shop was overwhelmingly crowded with 3-4 large tour groups. On several occasions, the guide offered the option to stop and buy water but never actually stopped. If you wanted water, you had to run to catch up or lose the group altogether. The information given by the guide was sparing compared to other tours. Lastly, the trip was even longer than anticipated because of an extra pickup and drop off in Jerusalem. When booking the tour there was no mention of Tel Aviv AND Jerusalem.
A fun day

Thoroughly enjoyed this full day tour. Our Palestinian guide, George, was great and the day was well organised.
Dead sea as the highlight of the tour
AnaPaola_B, Jul 2019
I really enjoyed the whole tour. The transportation was confortable and safe. The driver and the tourist guide are well prepared and kind. If I could change something, I would skip the shopping experience (wooden shop at Bethlehem) so I could gain 30 minutes on Dead Sea visit- which I found very short to live the whole experience without the rush of getting back to the bus on time.

The trip started off with a little snag the bus didnt pick up 6 of us who were at the hotel before the departure time. Fortunately, the bus came back and we were on our way. This tour offers covers a lot in a day. Some reviews note that there are different guides for each stop on the tour. I found this to be a good feature. Our guide in Bethlehem was a local resident who knew a great deal about the history and culture and Bethlehem and the Church of the Nativity where he appeared to know, and was on good terms with, the clergy of all of the denominations non small feat. Our guide in Jericho was also a local resident who was very knowledgeable concerning the pre-historic, Biblical, and modern history of the area. Qumran was a self-guided tour. My recommendation is to skip the movie, grab a map at the entrance, and see as much as you can because time is limited. The Dead Sea was great, and we had plenty of time to enjoy the experience. Over-all, this tour was an excellent value.

This tour was a great day trip - and although the driver was a little on the quiet side - the other travellers on the tour melded well and enjoyed the tour together.

Really good: 1 Jericho was brilliantly delivered by a very knowledgeable tour guide who knew a great deal of historical facts 2 Qumran was informative, but could do with a better tourist facilities i.e. open the restaurant a bit earlier in a day 3 Dead Sea was OK but could do with a bit of cleaning - the beach was filthy 4 Bethlehem was lovely despite the Church of Nativity being in the middle of restoration. I'd happily do this tour again.

This tour seemed very unorganized. We had to meet at another hotel-- we had to pay for a cab there and then again at the end of the tour. There were several guides, not all were great. There was a bit of confusion at the end of the tour with who was going in what bus. In Qumran there was NO tour-- we were on our own.

The tour description states we would be picked up at 6:30 in Tel Aviv and driven directly to Bethlehem. This was not the case. The driver was 20 minutes late and we then drove to Jerusalem to pick up more people. After wasting time in Jerusalem traffic, we then drove to the other 3 sites before visiting Bethlehem late in the afternoon. First stop was a wasted 25 minutes or so in a tourist souvenir shop, and then on to the Church of the Nativity by which time was very crowded. The tour guide rushed us through in less than 15 minutes, which left no time to sit and reflect for a few moments or light a candle. Then more time wasted dropping off people at their hotels in Jerusalem before heading back to Tel Aviv. About half way to Tel Aviv, the drive decided he was tired, so we pulled off at a gas station to wait for another bus to come from Tel Aviv to take us the rest of the way to our hotel. The tour operator did not at all describe this tour accurately and we wasted about 2-3 hours in total with all the driving in and out of the Jerusalem traffic. The 11 hour tour turned into a more than 13 hours, which made for a very long day on a crowded mini bus.

Brunilda P, Feb 2017
We were only four people on this tour from which 3 were from our group. This was convenient because it was like a private tour. there is not a proper guide for all the tour. We had only the driver who served also as a guide during the trip while we had two local guides in Bethlehem and Jericho. The driver/guide was really nice and willing to explain things while the van was in not a very good shape. we had to stop during our way back because it had some problems. While concerning the two guides the one in Jericho was well prepared while the one in Bethlehem was not so good. Overall I would say that this tour needs some improvements.
One of the greatest organized trips...
va_L, Jan 2017
One of the greatest organized trips I ever had. Beside the fantastic places we saw, I am very satisfied with the organization of the tour and the comfort. I have to say that it was more than they promised, since our driver and guide, Rocky during the trip shared information not just about the common history, but insider tips and knowledge as well, plus showed us even more things, that was described. He was really flexible and willing to fulfill our little wishes as well. On the sites the local guides were great, their stories were interesting and I was never bored, there were no unanswered questions. In the Dead Sea they took us to private beach, as they promised - it was amazing. I highly recommend this tour, especially if your driver and guide is going to be the same person we had. Unforgettable experience!
