A very nice way to visit Tokyo quickly

The reason l gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that we had to pay parking everywhere we went, and we were not advised when we purchased the tour. It was a pricey tour for us, so this was an unpleasant experience. The tour, however, was very interesting, much better for two aging women than trying to use public transportation. Our guide, Muhammed, was helpful & willing to adjust to our needs. I recommend this tour, but be aware that you will have expenses beyond what the tour information shows. By the way, there was still a lot of walking.

This was not a tour. It was a driver. They shared no information about any of the sites. Literally just a taxi. Pick up and drop off. No conversation.

Tokyo is a beautiful city and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience but unfortunately my driver did not speak nor understand English well at all. He was very kind however and we got through it. I was just hoping to learn more.

Our driver was fantastic. We were travelling with three small children (11 mths, 3yrs, 6yrs) and he was happy to go at our pace. Knowledgeable about our destinations and was so helpful with getting us in and around places.
Be Prepared. The tour wasn't adequately handled and Viator is impossible to contact.

We were customers today for the Private Tour of Tokyo. Tumen, our driver, explained that due to the illness of the scheduled driver, he was a last-minute substitution. He also told us that his role was only as a driver to take us to the sites we had selected. This surprised us as we believed our driver would use their local knowledge to help plan our day, the same as it appears was done in the reviews of this service. Further, he was not aware that we were to see the sites in the "What to Expect" list nor did we have any discussion of what we would visit before leaving the hotel. After a brief conversation Tumen did, however, provide commentary that was helpful and for which we were grateful. He also was diligent and helpful in keeping in contact with us during our outings away from the car. Likewise, we booked this tour expecting a 10 hour day, as is stated in the web listing, and received 7 hours (10:00-17:00), although we were given the option of visiting the market place and Ginza district but were told doing so would take away from time at other attractions so we declined seeing these places. In consideration of the above I do not believe the tour was what we paid for. In all, we think Tumen may not have been fully briefed as to the expectations of the tour, and we don't feel the tour lived up to its promise. I have attempted to contact Viator and the tour operator and have not received a reply.

excellent guide. Chan even helped my uncle get in and out of his wheelchair and assisted him whenever he had to get in and out of the van. He had many excellent suggestions which made our tour even more memorable.

We had a wonderful day touring Tokyo with our driver Shami. We were able to see everything we wanted and then some. It was nice to have a driver that suggested other sites to our tour that we would have otherwise missed. It was a great way to see the city at our own pace. Would highly recommend this to others who like to site see independently.
