This was a really unique and interesting food tour. Alex told fascinating tales about the history of the food and city of Toulouse, while also using his skills as a chef to produce some really amazing, tasty dishes that were an excellent way to punctuate the time.

An excellent introduction to the streets of Toulouse. Really a walking tour with food. As the guide not only took us to the local specialty stores, but served food he prepared from those ingredients! A special treat and a real surprise.

I've called Toulouse home for almost 11 years, but today's Toulouse Food & History Tour made me fall in love with the city all over again. It's one thing to walk the same streets, but another to discover the history of this beautiful city whilst enjoying some of the amazing dishes Chef Alejandro had planned for us, a delightful mix of delicious and daring. He is incredibly knowledgeable, but more importantly, he is passionate. It's not every day you find a guide who serves up history and dishes out meals at the same time. A must-try experience!

Wow! Alejandro gave an amazing tour!
We have done other food tours in other locations but Alejandro goes the extra mile. Not only does he have a lineup of great culinary experiences for your tour, he also has a wealth of knowledge about the rich history of the city and seamlessly ties that knowledge in to every bite along the way! Also, he expertly prepares dishes for you (no really, hes a real deal professional chef - and it shows!).
The tour of the Market was amazing as well. He selected some amazing cheeses and paired them with wine from a nearby shop (we enjoyed this part so much that we plan on going back to the same place tomorrow to do it again 😀).
I cannot recommend this tour enough. It's a fantastic introduction to the food and history of Toulouse!

Okay, so I've never been on a food tour before, but after this? I'm totally doing it on every trip! We spent the morning wandering around the old Roman city of Tolosa, and every stop was like a mini history lesson paired with some delish local eats. Alejandro, our guide, was not only a walking encyclopedia but also whipped up some dishes right on his cargo-bike at a couple of stops – how cool is that? Big shoutout to him for accommodating my vegetarian diet too, swapping out the meats for some tasty veggie options. Seriously, if you're in Toulouse, you've gotta try this tour. We had such a blast. Highly recommend!

Went on this food tour in Toulouse and had a blast. Great food everywhere - pastries, meats, wine, and those French cheeses, oh my! The guide knew tons about the city, especially some cool stuff from way back in the day. Really knew his stuff and you could tell he loved it. Defo recommend.

Wow, this food tour is the real deal. So much yummy food, from pastries to cheeses, and the wine? We had a sparkling white wine called Vertigo, from Gaillac, that was awesome. The guide really knew his stuff, gave us the lowdown on Toulouse's history, too. And he's a trained chef who clearly loves his job. Had a wicked time, you gotta try it!
