Overview

Combine a comprehensive tour of Port of Spain, Trinidad’s largest city, and a trip to Fort George, a lookout point at 236 feet (72 meters) above sea level with magnificent panoramic views of the city, the Gulf of Paria, and even as far as Valenzuela. The city tour starts at Independence Square before moving on to Queen’s Park Savannah and the nearby row of beautiful colonial buildings called “Magnificent Seven.” Additional stops include a museum and botanic gardens.

We had a great time seeing the sights of Port of Spain. Our guide was knowledgeable, amusing and willing to answer our daft questions. The traffic was an issue but it didn't spoil our trip.

Highlights in a day

The Magnificent Seven were a highlight. The views from Fort George were stunning. Our guide Khaleel was very knowledgable and showed us the most beautiful spots at Port of Spain.

Really enjoyed the tour guide's knowledge of the area and history including back stories of certain locations that aren't necessarily common knowledge. Tour didn't feel rushed at all and even though it was around 3 hours, it covered so many highlights in Port of Spain. The view from Fort George is breathtaking!

Ronnie was a great guide, and even had time to take us to a few extra sights. We asked to be dropped off at a brewery for lunch, and he even gave us some walking directions for after the tour. Fort George was a beautiful viewpoint.

This was a Tour with an unexpected difference, an old small beat up with little leg room and obviously just for 2. The benefit was the lady was very friendly and we were able to ask plenty of questions, gain many insights and be flexible. It turned out to be an enjoyable and we got to see the real Trinidad. l would recommend you try this tour.

The tour was fun. Even though it was very short 1 hour and 45 minutes, it incorporated a lot of things. We saw everything that was promised on the itinerary. Our host was very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information about the history of Port of Spain. We were also dropped off at the airport on time at the end of the tour as promised.

First of All #DONOT GO WANDERING in Trinidad as a tourist you stick out as a sour thumb. Myself and My husband went on a tour on one of the busiest days kiddie carnival. That didn't stop Gupta (Tour Guide) from helping us to take in the sights. We drove all around and had a ball!

We were only going to be in Trinidad for the day and had booked the Port of Spain and Fort George tour and what a great day we had! Our guide Nick met us at the airport and took us to all the sights and when he learned we were only there for the day he said we could hang out through the day and that he would take us back to the airport himself. So we went to lots of other places like Chaguaramas for a superb lunch at the marina and Maracas beach as well as Las Cuevas. Nick was a great guide, full of knowledge and with a great sense of humor!

Et on a mangé un double sur la rue, délicieuse spécialité de l’endroit. Le point de vue de la ville et de l’océan à partir de Fort George est magnifique!
