Highly recommend this tour!

Overall, a very good tour! We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel which was convenient. Our tour guide was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and patient while we took pictures/videos. There was a lot of riding versus walking. Would have loved to actually stop and walk around the Botanical Gardens. Please note it is best to carry the local currency if you’d like to purchase the vendor gifts/treats. Also know you will pay for the Bake and Shark and chairs/umbrellas if you choose to sit on the beach.

This tour was amazing. If you want to leave the history of Trinidad this is the tour for you. Our tour guide Janelle and driver Paul were awesome. They were both knowledgable and answered all the questions we had. This was my first time to Trinidad so I would highly recommend this tour for a first timer.

I loved exploring the city of Port of Spain with its in-depth history and monumental buildings. Fort George was a sight to behold the beauty of the island and finally Maracas Beach was the highlight of the tour with the local food such as bake and shark. It was an enjoyable 5 + hours of sightseeing and eating some local food.

This tour was good. I thought it would make more stops. A lot of things we just saw in the car but the tour guide was lovely and we enjoyed it.

Denton was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and was eager to share that information with us. After our visit to Fort George, it began to rain. However, Denton’s sense of humor, and easy-going manner still made the day enjoyable.

Overall the tour was ok, mostly driving around Port of Spain, minimal walking. Rapid fire facts about the city as we went. The main killer was the old vehicle and lack of AC. It was extremely hot and riding around with very little cool air made the day pretty rough.

Great highlights tour for short visit!

This tour was perfect for the 1-day we were visiting Port of Spain. The guide covered so much in just 5-6 hours, plus she was wonderful about teaching the history. We were picked up at our hotel and began the tour right away. After the tour we asked if we could purchase an airport transfer without a booking and the company/guide was so accommodating to help us out. Highly recommend this highlights tour if you have a short stay in POS and want to cover a lot of ground.

Great tour. Nice and laid back but still got to see the highlights of Port of Spain. Khalil was a great tour guide and very knowledgeable. He made the experience pleasant. Also, the Shark and Back we got at Richard's on Maracas Beach was awesome. Will recommend to other Port of Spain travelers.

Thought it was an average plus tour...

Thought it was an average plus tour. Drove in a comfortable bus and hit a few highlights buildings and streets in the Port of Spain. We felt that minimum information was given on the highlights with little to no historical background given. Continued up a mountain road to Fort George which was great for an overall view of the Port of Spain. Remained on a mountain road with beautiful jungle type scenery with a photo overlook of the ocean on the North side of the island. Stopped at Maracas Beach which was not overly impressive. There was an operator offered upgrade to the tour, which all nine of us signed on for, we went to the Caroni Bird Sanctuary via a boat tour which was probably the highlight of the tour. Watching the scarlet ibis, snow egrets and an occasional blue heron return to the island area for feeding prior to sunset was pretty spectacular!
