What To Expect
Following pickup in Port of Spain, take a comprehensive tour of the city's highlights with a knowledgable guide. Visit the Red House, or Parliament Building, and then head to the string of gorgeous colonial houses known as the Magnificent Seven. See the Queens Park Savannah and stop at the Botanical Gardens, home to much of Trinidad's native flora.
On the way out of town, stop at Lady Young Lookout for a view of the entire city of Port of Spain. Drive on towards the coffee and cocoa plantations that line the Santa Cruz Valley as you head towards the North Coast Road.
Stop at Maracas Lookout for your first panoramic view of your tropical beach destination. Then, board your vehicle for the return trip to Port of Spain.

- If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
- Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Jeffrey was our driver. He was polite, professional and friendly. He was very helpful and patient in answering all our questions. He gave useful information about the geography, culture, diet and the people of Caribbean Islands. He also gave some useful information about what to do for our other activities.

My visit to Trinidad was fantastic and a lot of it had to do with the Trinidad Highlights and Scenic Drive Tour done by the local guide Hayden Whiskey who is quite knowledgeable and passionate about his job. He took us around the city and explained the history of Port of Spain and the things within. The view at the lookout is magnificent and Maracas Bay is breathtaking, the Bake & Shark and other local street food is everything I expect and more. Thanks to Mr Whiskey for making the memories I have of Trinidad a great one and he will always be remembered when I think of my vacation there.

An email from the tour company told me to meet them at a nearby hotel. I went there only to find no one. Back at the cruise terminal, I had to use my expensive international phone to call the company. They gave me another number to call. Finally, a man showed up and said he was my guide. He was a kind, good-hearted man, but didn't seem to know much about the history of the island. We spent a lot of time stuck in traffic and boucing along on potholes. Nice to see some of the island, but not the greatest tour.

Oric was such a great guide. We learmed so much about the island from him and he drove us to some amazing sights throughout Trinidad. He even ended up becoming our aiport driver once there because he was so nice and accomodating. I definitely recommend that you request him when doing the tour and if you need a driver to anywhere, he does it all.

Loved this tour with my guide & driver, Jeffrey. I had cellphone network/roaming issues which led to a delayed start BUT the tour company was incredibly accommodating. When I got back to my Airbnb (which had Wi-Fi), I was able to connect with them and they VERY kindly worked with me. Jeffrey arrived at my Airbnb and our trip began. He explained the history of Port of Spain, showed me the city's very first street and we stopped so I could get a photo of the Brian Lara statue for my dad who is a huge fan. He showed me the beautiful houses along the Magnificent Mile before we headed north. Jeffrey was incredibly kind and stopped along the way so I could take photos and even stopped at what he told me was the best roti (it's like a very mild curry in a wrap) shop on the island so I could sample some of the best local food. He stopped at a couple lookout points for more photo opps and a chance to sample some of the local sweets (candies) at one of the street vendors along the way. Then we headed up to Maracas Bay. Stimulating conversation the whole way. Jeffrey was knowledgable, friendly, incredibly accommodating, and I wholeheartedly recommend booking a tour around the island with him.

This was a perfect finale to our trip to T&T. Jeffrey picked us up at our hotel and took us on an informative tour of Port of Spain, including a walk through the botanical gardens which was lovely. Jeffrey was quite knowledgeable about the history and geography of the city and the country more generally. Then he drove us up to beautiful Maracas Beach, where we got bake and shark right on the water and it was delicious. Jeffrey went above and beyond, taking us to a grocery store to get some local hot sauce and then actually repackaging it for us into jars we could carry on to our flight, all before giving us a ride to the airport. It was very generous, and emblematic of the friendly and giving attitude we encountered all over Trinidad and Tobago.
