OMG! A must do! We had Raquel and Oscar and we couldn't have a better tour guide or driver! They were amazing we came in as strangers and left a family! You will not be disappointed. My journey ended at Chile's border and even that transition was as smooth as it could be. If I could give 10 stars I would! The views alone are out of this world.

A great experience!

This tour is highly recommended! You will have experiences and memories for life! The nature is breathtaking. The highlight for me was the sunset at Salar de Uyuni and swimming in the hot springs! The guide and the drivers did a brilliant job for us to have an unforgettable journey :) They are also very good at taking great photos and videos for their customers! This is good to know before you travel: - Bring cash! It costs 150 bolivianos per person to enter the National Park. - Your main luggage will be placed on the roof of the car, take a separate bag with you to keep in the car. The weather is very changeable. It is therefore a good idea to have warm clothes nearby! - We brought our own sleeping bags. It came in very handy because it is cold in the hostels. This is a trip you will never forget! It's highly recommended!

Wonderful experience

The trip was incredible. The Salt Flats are one of the most beautiful places on Earth. The tour included much more than I expected. Not just the salt flats, but lagoons, canyons desert, geysers and hot springs, Oh and an “island” of corals with cacti.. Huascar was our driver, guide and generally everything and more than one could wish for. He is knowledgeable and friendly and genuinely cares that everyone has a good time. We always felt safe with him and on a tour in such a remote area, that matters a lot

Avoid if you have food intolerances

The sights on the tour are fantastic as everyone else has described. However I cannot recommend this tour if you have any kind of food intolerance. I am coeliac which means I need to eat an exclusively gluten free diet (no wheat, barley, rye etc) and I checked this with the company multiple times before and they assured me this would be fine. However on the tour our guide Axel seemed to have no understanding or interest in helping with this. He was often not present at all for meal times for me to ask or when he was (usually lunchtime) he would give me very vague answers and it was clear he had no idea. I ended up guessing a lot of the time but was often given food I knew to contain gluten (pancakes, soup, lasagne). This meant I was constantly on edge and starving. One day we woke up at 5am and I was given a single rice cake for breakfast. I’m just thankful this wasn’t a more physically challenging tour as I had no energy whatsoever and unfortunately this has made me very anxious about doing such tours in the future.

Once in a lifetime experience

This was an amazing tour. First and foremost, thanks to our guide Julio (the best guide ever) and Henry (the best driver ever) who made it as unforgettable as it was. The beauty of the salar when wet is staggering, the itinerary was packed full of highlights so we saw beyond just Uyuni but also the untamed area of south-western Bolivia. Julio the guide looked after us perfectly, full of knowledge to share and expert insights, plus so friendly and interesting over our evening meals. Henry drove with the appropriate level of caution and passed where other operators encountered problems. The accommodation emphasised the expedition feel to the adventure and in short, this was an experience I will never forget! Strongly, strongly recommended

Absolutely incredible experience. The place is breathtaking and absolutely mind-blowing so cannot recommend traveling here highly enough. The company is incredible too, they have a great system and our guides were incredible. We had Jose and Henry and they were great drivers and had a deep knowledge of the area that both provided interesting insights and expert recommendations.

This was an amazing 3 day experience. Eduardo was a great driver and tour guide managing everything, with a sense of humour! We had 5 in our vehicle, traveling with another vehicle with Spanish speaking passengers. The scenery was absolutely incredible, the colours and contours. Our accommodation was great, each having hot showers and all meals provided. Just a note to ensure your price includes everything as some passengers in the other vehicle didn't have everything included. Eduardo gave us some awesome memories/photos on our trip. Definitely recommend this tour company. They pick up from airport.

Unbelievable tour. Exceptionally professional. Alejandro was an amazing guide, photographer, and baby sitter. We were in the best hands. We loved our driver, Henry. Everyone felt safe and well cared for. The food was delicious. Anyone who complained in previous reviews about not having enough food I just can't understand. We had a guy with us who was 6'3". He was more than satisfied. In the high altitudes you gave to be careful not to over eat. The accommodations were all lovely given that we were in the middle of nowhere. Thank you Andes Salt Tours.

Our tour group was split into 2 cars: one with the English speaking guide and one with a non-English speaking driver, so unfortunately the other car didn't get much in terms of knowledge along the drives as we were lucky enough to get in our car. In our car we had Juascar (spelling?) who was great fun, but also chill too. The sites we saw were amazing, and it was crazy to go from one spot to another with such different terrain, definitely worth seeing. My only feedback really is the amount of time spent in each place. I feel like we spent a lot of time waiting in the office on the first day, and we spend a lot of time in places that don't matter such as shops and salt production stores but then we were rushed in places that really mattered for photo opportunities, such as the train cemetery, the dakar rally area, cactus island and so on. My biggest feedback is to plan out those visits so that time for photos is really taken into consideration given time it takes to walk around the area, crowds, lines and so on. I felt myself running to get key shots that were really my whole reason for visiting. Other than that, food and accomodation was good. My advice to travellers getting to and from Uyuni, book with Todo Turismo overnight bus and do so well in advance - you won't regret it.

I have booked a tour in English, and was put in a spanish speaking group. However, the car had only 4 people and was comfortable. In the second night, the car alarm from one of the guides (from another agency) started ringing in the middle of the night and when we asked the staff of the hotel where the guides were, the staff was very rude (first ignoring the question and then shouting) and mentioned they did not know where the guides were sleeping. This made us think what if the tourists had an health emergency and needed help? This night was terrible, since we had to wake up at 4:00 for breakfast, and almost could not sleep because or the car Alarm. Our guide Franklin was very good, provided good Information, knew the region very well and took good pictures. Landscape is amazing, a lot of nice places were visited. However, the tour still need the improve in the points mentioned above.

My friends and I had an amazing time on this tour. So much was packed into the three days, with great comfortable accommodation waiting for us at the end. Our tour guide Jose was so lovely! He did everything he could to make us comfortable, and had a wealth of local knowledge to share with us, all in perfect English. He also looked after one of our tour members who got quite sick with altitude sickness. Trip of a lifetime for sure. Thanks again to Jose and the team.

A great tour.I was with a guide Jose.Our Toyota Landcruiser had 6 people in a bit cramped but bearable.The food was great we were provided with and the atmosphere was great overall.Highly recommend to anyone wanting to do this trip

We got lucky and had an insanely good guide called Jose. Can’t speak for any of the other groups but he did a great job and made it fun. The trip was well organised and the food was ok. Considering we were in the mountains with no electricity we still managed to get hot showers. Worth paying the extra for an English speaking guide (this tour is cheaper if you book in person with a Spanish guide but personally I think the extra was worth it)

This was one of the best tours I have done. It was just the right amount of time (3d/2n) to see the amazing Uyuni salt flats and the surrounding lagoons, mountains, desert, rock formations, thermal pools, geysers and flamingos! Our guide Jose was great (he was also our driver, cook, photographer etc). Most of our group did the transfer into Chile (Atacama) on the final day which went smoothly. I would highly recommend this tour, the scenery is just stunning.

We went on a tour with four other people, and it was a great experience. We were picked up at our hotel and dropped back to Uyuni - some were dropped at the frontier with Chile. Our driver gave us lots of explanations on what we where seeing, and cooked nice meals for us. I gladly recommend this tour to anybody. The only negative thing I would note is that it was quite cold at night, but that's part of the experience I guess.

Israel was a great guide with a passion and knowledge beyound our expectations - and our driver was very good too! So with nice sun and no clouds, pretty light wind for the area, our two small groups of 2x6 people had a fantastic tour in Salar de Uyuni, especially the first 2 days. I have travelled a lot and I can genuinely say that this was one of the most memorable trips I have ever done! It is not a 'luxury' trip (as eg you stay in basic salt hotels which can get very cold) but everything about it is superb: beautiful blue skies (I was there in the winter - May/June) over an absolutely stunning range of scenery and experiences, and a wonderful guide/driver, Harry, who spoke really good English and looked after me (and the other 4 people on the trip) superbly throughout the whole expedition.
