Excellent hiking tour through lush old growth forests followed by a fun biking tour along the scenic Alouette River. Our tour guide, Paul, took care of all the logistics from start to finish and delivered a day trip that I highly recommend!

Core memory

Paul told a lot about Vancouver's overall knowledge, the ecosystem and vegetation of the BC forests and the high mountains surrounding it. A day after this guided tour, I had plan going on a trek to Mount Garibaldi and he lent me two bear sprays. (Luckily, I didn't use them.) And without Paul's knowledge of hiking in Vancouver, by now my friend and I might have been in trouble in the mountains. Freezing to death. Thank u so much and it was an amazing tour.. Core memory created indeed.

A wonderful experience. I liked the meal and the weather we had that day. I really like how Paul took the time to explain and tell stories about Trees and Animals to the children. I saw from the children's face how captivated they were.

We had such a fantastic day. Paul, Into the Wild Tours, was so knowledgeable and personable. The bike tour was a great way to see such a beautiful part of Vancouver and the hike through the forest was peaceful with great snippets of information given by Paul. Lunch was delicious at Hopcott Farm and a great spot to relax.

Absolutely fabulous day outdoors exploring Pitt Meadows by bike and the luscious Lynn Canyon park by foot! Paul (In to the Wild Tours) - absolutely amazing, down to earth guide who has a knack for building rapport instantly. His knowledge of local area, environment, history and culture is spun in throughout the day in a fun, relaxed not overly scientific way! Lunch at Hopcott Farm was homely and delicious! We had the absolute best day on this tour. Paul is literally the best guide. The ride was really amazing and really easy for all riding levels. The hike was informative and enjoyable, lots of stairs though so beware haha. I found it easy though. Lunch was terrific at a locally owned and operated place. The hike through Lynn Canyon was amazing and Paul is extremely informative and passionate about nature and preserving it for future generations. Would definitely recommend the tour. Unfortunately- it was an extremely hot day 89F - so the biking portion was too much for me and I got dehydrated. However, Paul had me sit in the shade and wait for him to come get us in the van. He insured I was hydrated and not feeling too sick. If it was 10-15 degrees cooler would have been enjoyable, my son completed the 11 mile cycle, though. The ride itself is in 98% sun. Someone in our party saw a bear so that was cool. Lastly he got all of us ice cream to cool us down. The lumch was at a farm and was delicious. Thanks Paul my son and I had a great time.

wonderful day outside the bustle of Vancouver. The morning hike was beautiful; about 3 miles long. We stopped for lunch at a charming farm store. The bike ride was nice and flat and lovely with lots of interesting commentary by our great guide Paul. Overall just a really, really nice day with a small group. definitely recommend
