    Had a great experience with Mauro. Excellent tour guide. Full of interesting details about Verona. Very relaxed and very pleasant tour guide. We should have booked this on our 1st day. Recommended

    The tour guide was a local school teacher who was a local & imparted so much knowledge about her beautiful city. It was a lovely tour, taking in breathtaking views. The only delay was waiting in line to take the funicular up the hill but believe me it was better than climbing the steps. We spent only one night in Verona and were so pleased we attended this tour.

    An excellent small group tour with an extremely knowledgeable and entertaining guide, Mauro whose English was extremely good. Entry to the Arena, the Cable car and the Juliet Balcony were all included, thereby avoiding all the queues. The tour covered a wide area of the city, including the quieter streets, and Mauro was a mine of information, historical knowledge and anecdotes. We opted to add on the wine and food tasting at the end which gave us a great lunch for 17 Euros each. Highly recommend.

    The guide was well informed and pleasant. We went into the arena, walk the historic streets gathering picturesque photos, and viewed Verona from the hill on the other side of the river. A stop for Juliet’s balcony was a must!

    Loved every bit of this walking tour! A great way to see/ learn about Verona! the tour guide left no stone unturned as far as his coverage of the historical aspects of this fabulous city, which he clearly is passionate about; he exercised great patience, making sure our group stayed together, and to make sure we knew where to meet back up with him after the allotted free time

    Our guide was 6 out of 5 stars. She filled the time incredibly with so much information about Verona. After the tour she even walked us to her favourite restaurant and helped us get a table for lunch. Walks in Europe is very fortunate to have her. The tour did not come as advertised. We did not get entry/admission to Castelvecchio. We also did not get entry/admission to the Arena which is fine, but it has been closed for two weeks and this should be noted in the tour description. This would have been 2/5 stars if it weren’t for the great tour guide!
