We had a delightful and delicious food tour today. Sara was a great guide who is very knowledgeable about Verona. We saw a number of great sites while eating our way through the city. We had a number of stops for tastings of local food as well as a nice lunch and wine tasting. The tour was in English and Sara spoke it well and was really engaging. It was a fun day!

We saw a great deal of sights. Tried a lot of food, ending the day with a lunch of pasta and glass of wine. The concept of the tour is great and worth doing. It happened to be very busy even in mid Oct… because the guide walked a little too fast, didn’t have a microphone or flag it was sometimes hard to keep up with her.. so she needs to improve that.. when we could hear her she had interesting info. We loved Verona. Don’t miss the cable car/funicular she gives you tickets for at the end with your yummy gelato. We caught the Hop on bus on top of the city instead of taking the funicular down again…and saw lots of areas on the bus after this tour.

This is a fun way to become acquainted with both Verona and the local food scene. Alessia was a wonderful guide and had arranged several unexpected treats for us. We particularly liked the wine tasting after lunch where the shop owner made a nice presentation of the local wines.

Excellent tour that was comprehensive and fun. We only spent two days in Verona and this tour was perfect. Our guide, Linda, introduced us to typical dishes and wines from Verona and showed us the highlights of Verona like the Arena, Piazza Erbe, Juliet’s Balcony and more. She took us to a hidden gem well and we did a wine tasting. We had great snacks along the way typical to the region and we ended the tour by taking the funicular to a mirador overlooking the city at sunset. Truly amazing. Linda was energetic and very knowledgeable about the food, wine and history. I highly recommend this tour and doing it with Linda
