Our guide Giulia was very helpful and dynamic, and gave us a lot of information about Verona. It is better to take this tour at the start of your stay to learn about the local food and restaurants so that you can go back later. It is recommended to skip breakfast that day.

Delicious Traditional Food of Verona

Our guide Magda took us to restaurants that we would never have found. The focus was traditional food from the Verona region. Spectacular! The nettle pasta and amarone risotto were to die for! The hardest part was pacing oneself as the portions were generous.

Excellent food tour

We were the only people who signed up for the tour, which was lovely, we lucked out as the weather was perfect for walking and eating outside. There were 4 stops representing 4 dinner courses and trying new and interesting food items, the only negative was that our guide Simona was very sweet, but so soft-spoken, that we had a hard time hearing her, and repeatedly asked her to speak up. The food selections were excellent, I only wished that wine was served at every stop instead of just the first.

Vi fikk så god kontakt med guiden og vi hadde det så hyggelig! Han viste oss steder vi ikke hadde funnet på egenhånd. Vi besøkte to av stedene dagen etter.

Notre expérience n'a pas été très appréciée par le groupe. Les problèmes se sont enchainés dès le début. Nous avions réservé parce que c'était la seule agence à proposer un guide Français mais à la fin nous n'avons pas eu de guide Français. l'organisation du tour laisse à désirer ! impression de ne pas être attendu dans les restaurants du tour. Malgré tout, la guide italienne était SUPER et elle a su dissiper la mauvaise organisation du tour.

Good morning, Thank you for participating. Effectively you had booked by requesting French language. Well in advance, however, we informed you that unfortunately our French-speaking local expert was not available for the requested date and that we could cancel the experience without any problems if a different language was a concern for you. We were told that you would take the tour in a different language without problems. As for the organization of the tour, I assure you that everything was booked and organized well in advance. The only place where they do not take reservations of any kind is the first stop, the aperitif stop, which, however, opens at the time of our arrival and always has room (in your case too). All subsequent places were reserved at set times. The schedule was a first stop at 11:30 a.m., a second stop at 12:30 p.m., a third stop at 2 p.m., and finally a dessert and coffee stop. When you were at the second restaurant, talking with the guide you preferred to stop there and eat at the same place also what you would eat later in the next stage. However, it was your choice, in fact, we had to call and cancel the reservation at the 2 pm restaurant. In any case, clearly, the timing and management of a group of 11 people is different and more complicated, and we will no doubt try to improve the organization, especially on days when the restaurants are very full as on weekends. We are glad to hear in any case that you enjoyed your stay with our guide Margherita. thank you and see you soon!

Simona hat diese Gastrotour für uns zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Sie erzählte uns viel Interessantes über die Stadt und über traditionelle Speisen. Das Essen war köstlich und reichlich und sie führte uns zu Restaurants, die wir nie gefunden hätten und wir probierten typische Gerichte (Pferdefleisch mit Polenta, Bigoli, Risotto Amerone etc) Insgesamt eine tolle Tour mit einem wunderbaren Guide Simona.
