Well in advance, however, we informed you that unfortunately our French-speaking local expert was not available for the requested date and that we could cancel the experience without any problems if a different language was a concern for you.
We were told that you would take the tour in a different language without problems.
As for the organization of the tour, I assure you that everything was booked and organized well in advance. The only place where they do not take reservations of any kind is the first stop, the aperitif stop, which, however, opens at the time of our arrival and always has room (in your case too). All subsequent places were reserved at set times.
The schedule was a first stop at 11:30 a.m., a second stop at 12:30 p.m., a third stop at 2 p.m., and finally a dessert and coffee stop.
When you were at the second restaurant, talking with the guide you preferred to stop there and eat at the same place also what you would eat later in the next stage. However, it was your choice, in fact, we had to call and cancel the reservation at the 2 pm restaurant.
In any case, clearly, the timing and management of a group of 11 people is different and more complicated, and we will no doubt try to improve the organization, especially on days when the restaurants are very full as on weekends.
