Ondrej was an amazing guide who told us all about the glacier and was patient with us in a way to make sure that we enjoyed every moment. Hike was beautiful and ice climbing was a great time for my wife and myself. Highly recommend especially if you can get Ondrej as a guide, he made a great experience even better.

English: All in all, an incredible experience. our tour guide, Joao was experienced and knowledgeable. He broke down key techniques into simple steps, and made learning the craft less daunting as it appears. His emphasis on safety and general concern for the group is noteworthy.

One of the highlights of our trip! We did glacier hiking and ice climbing with Boris on Solheimajokull. Boris was an amazing guide, explaining to us in just the right amount of detail about glaciers. The trail was done with utmost professionalism. Whilst my husband and I were new to ice climbing, we felt completely safe, and got the chance to try two climbs at different locations. We also appreciated the small group size of 5 people (compared to other tours where there seemed to be 10-15 people). Would highly recommend this experience to others looking for a bit of adventure!

We had a great experience going ice climbing for the first time with Hang, our guide. We suited up and walked out to the glacier, where there are some incredible views. Our group was small - 7 total, including 4 of us. We learned how to use our gear and how to climb. Everyone was able to make it to the top and have as many turns as they liked. We also learned a ton about Iceland and the glaciers. Hang made sure to keep us safe as well as give us a personalized experience according to our abilities and needs. Amazing time!

It is massively oversold and very disappointing. We walked on the glacier for about half an hour before stopping while the guide was setting up the ropes. Then he showed us how to climb and once the first of us was on the ice, he started explaining how to get down, shouting from the bottom of the ice wall. Basically, an educated guess on ice climbing and descent. Once you climb up and somehow manage to get down, you have nothing to do while all the others in the group complete their climb. Another 30 minutes to get back to your car.

Sam was an amazing glacier guide; very knowledgeable and made our experience fun and comfortable! Having never ice climbed before, we weren’t quite sure what to expect, but Sam encouraged us and made us feel safe. Sólheimajökull is beautiful and we were so glad that we had the opportunity to do this on our first trip to Iceland.
