Pretty good but might not be for everyone

I thought it was very an interesting and wonderful experience to have experienced the food/drinks at five different restaurants. However, the distance from the third to fourth place was somewhat far, and that walking distance may not be suitable for some older folks.

The tour lasted less than 3 hours. I am not sure why the tour wasnt cancelled because I was the only participant. And the host did not seem too interested. I learned very little about food in general in Poland or about the 2 dishes we had, or the vodka at the end. Both dishes were good.

Very disappointing. Only visited 3 food locations. Two with two food options (food quality was good) and the third was two shots of infused vodka, no food. The guide was not very forthcoming with information and the overall experience was rather dull and definitely not value for money

A great tour of Warsaw's old town and its food

Cezar contacted me when I was unable to find him in the plaza, which was very welcome. The most memorable part was the food and his easygoing attitude. His insight into the area's history was very welcome. I also lucked out that the other member of the tour group was great to hang out with. I'd recommend this for anyone looking to explore the area, Polish cuisine, and its history, and doesn't want to spend a full six hour day doing so. Great experience.

Avoid This Tour!

Extremely overpriced and overall a pretty negative experience. Guide was not local and didn't seem to know anything about Warsaw or Polish cuisine. The last stop was cut from the tour with no explanation so we just left. Have been trying to claim a refund for (at minimum) the last stop as we'd prepaid for it but no luck. AVOID THIS TOUR.

Terrible tour

Terrible value, vastly overpriced. Guide verged on useless and couldn’t even tell us what we were eating even though she ordered it. To get to the last restaurant we walked in silence for 30 minutes before we told her to forget it. A waste of an evening.

Awesome food tour in Warsaw

We met our guide Cesar, and another couple, in the Old Town Square. We then went to 4 different restaurants. Each restaurant was a different course. Cesar was very knowledgeable and explained to us everything we were eating. We had the opportunity to eat food that we might not have tried on our own. The food was delicious and the restaurants were lovely and the staff at each restaurant made us feel very welcome. It was a really great experience, with a great guide. Definitely worth the price. I highly recommend it.

Loved the Variety of Polish Food

Caesar was a great guide. I enjoyed all the food; it was enough for a meal. My favorite was the pork knuckle but the Hunter's Stew was a close second. Several vodka tastings were also included. The restaurants were interesting too. One was in a former clockmaker's house. It had a clock in the floor. Another was in one of the few buildings that survived WWII. All were in the Old Town Square area so there was not a lot of walking.

Not worth the money

Really not worth the money or the time! Cesar was a lovely man but I'm not sure why he thinks he is a tour guide for food! A. He didn't tell us much about the food, B. He wasn't particularly engaging in conversation C. He ate more of the food than the guests and mostly no one was particularly full up at the end of the tour. Good idea but poorly executed

Not worth the money

The idea of the food tour was good, and the food was actually alright and fun to try. Unfortunately we had a pretty bad guide. He didn’t really explain anything, he basically just walked to the restaurants and said the name of the dish and that was it. When starting the tour he literally said “you can just ask me”…. And then he didn’t really say much more. No stories, no fun facts, no historic facts, no showing the city. I’ve never been on a guided tour with a guide that didn’t talk unless you asked specific questions. You might as well just book a table at any polish restaurant in the city and ask for a polish dish and then google some history on the dish. This will save you a lot of money and you will actually also learn much more than we did on this tour. Definitely not worth the money.

Nice food, poor tour.

Some good Polish food - but not a great tour. Only 4 stops and 4 different foods (plus 3 shots of drinks)- not as good as other tours we've been on. The description when we booked said 10 or more different Polish foods - you could only get to that if you counted individual slices of sausage. We started with slices of cold sausage in one place, then moved on for soup, then dumplings and pork knuckle, and a couple of small drinks in the final place. The instructions said arrive 15 minutes before the time - all the guests were left there waiting for the guide until just after the start time.

My husband and I were the only guests on the tour so it ended up being a private tour. Our guide was Zelinka. She arrived on time, paced the tour well and provided informative tidbits about the history of Old Town and Polish food. Our first stop was for appetizer plate of cold meats with shot of vodka. Our 2nd stop was to sample bread bowl soup. Our 3rd stop for the entree consisted of perorgi and pork knuckle, potatoes and cabbage. Our final stop was to sample vodka. All the food we ate was delicious and copious. We were stuffed by the end. Zelinka was pleasant company and we very much enjoyed the tour.
