        The very best tour in D.C. - go private with Alan!

        I’m not a fan of writing reviews, but in a case like this it has to be done! Alan is absolutely D.C.’s BEST tour guide. My twenty something daughter and I went into this experience not really knowing what to expect. We’d heard a lot of stories about how dull and boring most D.C. tours could be. But, boy was it ever a blast! Alan knows so many little details that are truly gems. He gives you a slew of intimate stories and personal facts about so many of our former leaders, various agencies and offices, memorials, and the city as a whole. He’s also one of the funniest guys to spend an afternoon with. Who knew that time spent with an “encyclopedia” could be so much fun!! And on top of every thing else, he’s very patient about getting great pics at every special site. We spent 5 hours with him and it felt like maybe 2 at the most. I highly recommend this private tour with Alan. It seems a little expensive when you’re signing up, but I guarantee you won’t feel that way when the day is over. Money very well spent!

        Our family had a fantastic time exploring Washington DC with Alan Feldman as our tour guide! Alan's friendly demeanor and expertise made the experience enjoyable for both our kids and us!         Alan was the best tour guide we have ever had. Extremely knowledgeable with so many historical stories that we will remember forever. My favorite memorable moment was seeing the real original Constitution and Declaration of Independence documents. The Capitol tour was tremendous as well.         A big thank you to Alan for delivering an unforgettable personal tour around Washington for myself and my husband. We were grateful to him for his detailed and in-depth knowledge, not just of Washington but of the US more generally, which we enjoyed learning about. We were very lucky with fabulous sunshine and so got to see Washington in all it's glory. The fact that we were able to cutomise our tour with Alan was really great and the informal, friendly nature of how he showed us round made for a really enjoyable experience.         We only had two days to spend in DC, so we wanted a tour that would show us all of the highlights that we should. This tour let us personalize our tour to things we did and didn’t want to see and also gave us recommendations on what would be the best use of our time. We took on DC with a ten year old and a 14 month old. Alan, our tour guide was fantastic! He was a fountain of knowledge and made things even more fun and interesting for our ten year old.         Alan is the best tour guide we've ever had! As soon as we booked the tour, he called so we could discuss the agenda. He made sure we saw everything we wanted to see. He is extremely knowledgeable about Washington's history! He told us so much more than the Capitol tour guides and shared with us all the little secrets!         Alan was a wonderful storyteller with vast historical knowledge. He was entertaining and charismatic. He did an incredible job building the schedule and securing the logistics of parking, ticketing, etc. taking the pressure off of the family so that we could see as much as we possibly could in the limited amount of time that we had in DC. By far one of our most treasured experiences and we owe that to the special talent shared to us by Alan.

        My teenage son and I had an incredibly enlightening and enjoyable experience on our recent private tour with Alan in Washington DC. From the moment we began planning our excursion, Alan's excellent communication skills were apparent. He thoroughly listened to our interests and tailored an itinerary to match. He adeptly avoided the typical tour guide pitfall of being a droning lecturer; instead, he was engaging, knowledgeable, and had a knack for presenting information in a way that kept us both captivated throughout the tour. Alan's ability to adjust the itinerary on the fly to ensure we were always at the right place at the right pace was commendable. This made our trip less about ticking off a checklist of sights and more about enjoying and understanding each attraction in depth. Not only did he cover the highlights of the city, but he also managed to weave in lesser-known facts and figures that enriched our experience. The tour was an enjoyable mix of education, exploration, and bonding for my son and me. In Alan, we didn't just find a tour guide, but a story-teller and a passionate ambassador of Washington DC.

        Alan Feldman was our fantastic tour guide! First of all, I just want to say… this guy is absolutely amazing!!! Alan is not your ordinary boring tour guide…He is knowledgeable about all of the monuments and sites we visited and is a wonderful storyteller! I could listen to him talk all day! Alan has a genuinely caring personality and was very accommodating to everything we wanted to see and do. I felt like I had known him all of my life! After touring the monuments he would walk back to the car and drive back to pick us up so we didn’t have to walk so far. I loved the fact that we could tailor our tour to the sites we were interested in seeing. Alan made our tour exciting and memorable!! Thank you Alan!!!

        Our family toured Arlington and D.C. historical sites with Alan at Concierge Tours last week. He was very personable, knowledgeable and flexible - customizing our tour to incorporate our special interests. (Ford's Theater and Petersen House). He always put forth an extra effort to put us in the best possible position/location to enjoy each site. His expertise was especially valuable in touring Arlington. He knows the location and history behind many famous graves and planned our tour to include excellent viewing of The Changing of the Guard and wreath laying ceremonies. Everywhere we went Alan was able to point out surprising details not known to most. Our tour was worth every penny, and we can't recommend Alan highly enough!
