Overview
Visiting Tsaghkadzor, Kecharis Monastery, and Lake Sevan from Yerevan in one day is tricky without a car. On this full-day tour, travel to all three in an air-conditioned vehicle with a guide. Take a cable car ride in Tsaghkadzor and admire the scenery. Stop at the Kecharis Monastery. Continue on to Lake Sevan, and go to Sevanavank Monastery. Knowledgeable and friendly guide, did the tour in English and Russian. Enough time to enjoy each place without feeling rushed. Great coach and driver with heating and WiFi. Food very good, circa 4000 for everything on the table plus a main meal. Only downside for me was the ropeway only going 1/3 up the mountain rather than the top, and I think it should be advertised as such (n.b. To go to the top would be tight on the timescale, and incur extra fees). All that said, a fair package/price, and whole trip lasted 7.5 hours so back in time for the theatre.

I loved the great food provided for lunch. Personally, I don't find it easy eating trout because of the bones, but the food was great nevertheless. I didn't ski but still enjoyed the Tsaghkadzor Ropeway ride which was fun. Kecharis Monastery was beautiful. The trip was so much better with WiFi access inside the bus.

our tour guide had the perfect information on the monasteries to keep us locked & informed. her way of explaining was brief, to the point, and interesting. the trout bbq was amazing! loved lake sevan. it was rainy and too cold to enjoy the water, but overall experience was amazing. we were given enough & more time for every stop to ensure all was seen and enjoyed.
