Overview
Go off–roading in a Jeep to explore a Giant Sequoia forest near the south entrance to Yosemite National Park. Enjoy a fun 40-minute ride into the forest, followed by an easy hike through the trees. Make your own way to the meeting place in Fish Camp, California, located just outside the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park.
Join your guide in the custom 4-wheel drive (4WD) Jeep for a 40-minute drive to a grove of towering Giant Sequoias. The trees can live for up to 3,000 years and may have branches that measure eight feet (2.5 meters) in diameter.
Zip through the forest on light 4WD terrain that can get muddy in the spring (your guide adds a hard top to the Jeep in wet conditions). Expect the Jeep ride to last about 40 minutes one way.
When you reach the grove of Giant Sequoias, follow your guide on an easy hike that lasts approximately 40 minutes. Get great photo ops of this ancient forest along the way.
After the hike, hop back in the Jeep for another fun off-road return to Fish Camp where your tour ends.

Ty was a great guide. He was knowledgeable and did a great job on the hike. He made sure we stayed on the correct trail. The ride on the trails was so much fun. Highly recommended for a different way to see this area. The cost was well worth the fun.

Wonderful experience
Tyler was an excellent guide. He was full of information.
We got the back way into the sequoia grove.

Jeep tour with Logan was awesome, adventurous, saw so much. Logan was able to show and explain so much more than we would have been able to see on our own. tour company was very friendly and accommodating, would do this trip again

This tour was great fun! We were staying in Yosemite West during the Washburn fire so we were unable to see the giant sequoias in the park.
This tour took us right to them ! We were able to get lots of pictures - it was awesome!!!!

Great trip, lots of fun. Guide was new but really fun. Views were amazing but probably should be advertised as an offer road mountain tour rather than a sequoia tour to more closely align with the experience.

Hang on- it’s a fun ride in the Jeep in the Sierra National Forest! Loved the short hikes to see a Giant Sequoia and amazing views of Bass lake. Kelly was a fantastic guide. Nothing beats having a local who really knows the area to show you around. Great for a family- we fit 4 in the Jeep, plus Kelly driving.

Unfortunately we needed to cxl this tour although the customer service from Sierra Jeep Tours was excellent! I would highly recommend them and cannot wait to go on this tour in the future.

There was a mixup with the booking from viator to the provider. When we arrived there was not a reservation for us. The local provider made it work and we went out as scheduled. Jeep tour was good. Guide (tyler)was very good driver and knowledgeable about roads.
