The Rhine Falls were great On the other hand Titisee is very touristic and the cuco workshop quite disapointing

Disappointing tour

Little bit disappointed with this tour. The Rhine Falls are actually incredibly small and it’s more like a small lake to walk around. I was very dissatisfied that we had less than an hour to look around the charming village of Lake Titisee. This was NOT enough time to stop in a cafe to try the famous Black Forest cake, explore the shops or take pictures of the beautiful area. This made it a let down.

Enjoyable trip. The falls are amazing and the 15 minute boat ride was just enough and most affordable. The village is the Black Forest was interesting but mainly geared to tourists. I skipped the clock presentation but others said it was informative.

I thought the Rhein Falls were interesting and was worth seeing. They were about 45 minutes away from Zurich. The black forest portion of the trip is really misleading as a name. It was another hour plus of travel to get to a tourist trap small town in the black forest (I think) we really did not explore any part of the forest at all.

We regret that our tour did not fully meet your expectations. The Black Forest is a mountainous region in the southwest of Germany. The densely forested mountainous region is located in Baden-Württemberg, in the south-western part of Germany. To the west and south it is bordered by the Rhine plain. Titisee is nestled in the beautiful forest and hilly landscape of the Upper Black Forest. For many, Lake Titisee is considered one of the most beautiful lakes and is therefore one of the most popular destinations in Germany. It once emerged from a glacier and attracts numerous visitors to its shores in summer and winter. Our stay at the same named spot Titisee lasts about 2 hours. After a short talk about the manufacture of cuckoo clocks, we have time at leisure to explore this beautiful place. We drive through impressive spruce forests and past Lenzkirch back to Switzerland to admire the Rhine Falls, Europe's largest and most spectacular waterfall.

I would recommend this tour.

The waterfall spectacular the town in Germany very quaint. The bus driver was awful had no idea how to stop the bus. The emergency brake system went on so many times, thank goodness for seatbelts I thought we were going to be thrown off the bus.

The Rhine falls boat ride was better then Niagara Falls and I am a Canadian. The smaller boat made it more interesting but…no lifejackets??

The trip was very well organized and we had a really good time. Our guide was really friendly and had lot of interesting facts to share while we were on the road. The entire ride through the Black forest is fascinating with beautiful views. We stopped at the German town of Titisee-Neustadt and spend some quality time there. On the way back we stopped at Rhine Falls where we took the boat ride to the base of the waterfall which was the highlight of the trip.

This was my favourite trip. Titisee was a dream, so beautiful. The guide was excellent too however her recommendation for Black Forest gateau at her recommended cafe was very disappointing. We waited here for ages without being served. The staff were rude too. We decided to leave and try another restaurant/cafe. We walked past the lake to Bergsee restaurant and had a lovely meal and fantastic slice of Black Forest Gateau there. I would definitely recommend the food here. The second part is the day was the Rheinfall which were spectacular. My only criticism would be that the trip did not start until 12.15 and the time at both Titisee and Rheinfalls was a little too short. If the trip was a full day or even 10.15am guests would have an hour extra at each location. Both places were so nice but it felt a little rushed especially if you wanted to stop for a snack.

The bus started almost 7 minutes late, then the tour guide stopped the bus to collect the money for the boat ride and that was a waste of time. It should be included in the ticket or taken before. The trip to the Black Forest was beautiful, but very short. The Rhine falls was ok.
