What To Expect

Hop aboard an air-conditioned coach vehicle to start your journey away from Zurich. Venture through the landscape of Switzerland with your guide who will share historical and cultural tales along the way.

Make your first stop at Castle Laufen, a medieval fortress overlooking the Rhine Falls. View the large waterfall, immerse yourself in its grandeur as 153978 gallons (700,000 liters) of water per second cascade down. Then, take a boat ride (available during summer at an additional cost) right up to the falls, or make your way to the Belvedere panoramic trail.

Afterward, venture to Stein am Rhein, a village known for its medieval houses adorned with murals. Embark on a guided walking tour through the Old Town to encounter the fresco-covered houses.

At the end of your adventure, relax in the comfort of your transfer back to Zurich.

Beautiful but need more time!

It was a nice excursion but we had only one hour to enjoy the town. It needs to be at least two hours to say that we were really there. Otherwise, the guide, Mercel, was great, very professional and knowledgeable. Nice ride. On time.

Beautiful scenery! The falls are amazing! Take the boat ride! The medieval town was fascinating and beautiful. Bruno our tour guide was wonderful. Our driver was great too. Would absolutely do this again!

This is a fantastic excursion. We loved visiting Rhine Falls, especially going on the boat to get closer to the foot of the falls. The observation platforms were also very good. Then we had a lovely visit to the little village of Stein em Rhine which was another enjoyable part of the afternoon. Monica was a great guide who helped to make the trip enjoyable. She was knowledgeable and also very kind and personable.

Its a great trip to the Rhine Falls and Stein Am Rhine historical Site which both can be done in an afternoon trip. The boat tour option could not be missed. The guide, Lars, is knowledgeable and speak fluent in English. He also gave us a lot of local iinformation of where to go, eat, and stay within Zurich city.

A nice half day tour. But very much depends on the weather. Only issue was a couple with a small child that was screaming constantly on the bus. Eventually forcing the tour guide to step in. There should be a minimum age for the tour

it is generally a good trip The tour operator has some misunderstanding with a group of travelers; re the tickets to go on the boat; as a result the ret of us were help up for 20 minutes. I don't know whose fault it is re the miscommunication Maybe in the tour description; you can state chf 10 to go on a boat rider near the fall; so travellers can make up their mind beforehand to pay or not to pay tpo go on the boat ride

If you enjoy visiting waterfalls, this one is spectacular. The Rhine Falls was just one stop on this tour. We had plenty of time to walk around and view the waterfall from various angles. The other stops were enjoyable, but the waterfall was more than expected.
