Trullo Sovrano

Piazza Sacramento 10, Alberobello, Apulia, 70011

The Basics

The Rione Monti neighborhood in Alberobello’s historic center contains more than 1,000 trulli, and the Trullo Sovrano towers above its neighbors with a roof more than 45 feet (14 meters) tall. Kids especially enjoy experiencing what it was like to live inside the humble, fairy-tale-ready cottage.

Visit the Trullo Sovrano during a walking tour of Alberobello that takes in neighborhood highlights, or on your own by purchasing a skip-the-line ticket in advance. Alberobello day trips and tours often include stops in nearby Locorotondo, Polignano a Mare, Conversano, or the Castel del Monte fortress.

A great experience for a 1 day tour
The guides on both tours were very informative and gave great answers to any of our questions . They explained and pointed out so many interesting sites. The time given was ideal and allowed us to enjoy what turned out to be a very long day but well worth it.
