Marina Beach

Chennai, Tamil Nadu

The Basics

Marina Beach is a great place to hang out and watch the world go by, and many city tours stop here. Expect to see kids flying kites, locals playing cricket and munching on snacks from the food vendors, open-air markets, and fortune-tellers hawking their trade to passersby. If you get there early enough in the morning, you can watch fishing boats heading out to sea.

Good tour experience
This was a great tour. Nivi is really a knowledgeable guide. I asked her so many questions and she was able to answer them. If you are short on time, this is actually quite a good tour.
