Options for visiting Cua Dai Beach are plentiful, with everything from early morning fish-market tours to rural Hoi An bike tours stopping at the beach. Serving as the gateway to the Cham Island (Cu Lao Cham) archipelago, Cua Dai Beach is usually the starting point for tours visiting the islets, which offer visitors coral reefs, granite cliffs, and sandy bays. Day trips typically involve snorkeling, scuba diving, or underwater walking and offer transport by either traditional rowboat or speedboat.

Although the weather in central Vietnam is always unpredictable, you’re most likely to enjoy sunbathing time between March and September, considered Hoi An’s dry season. Head to the beach in the afternoon to catch some rays, or venture down at night for some of the liveliest parties in Hoi An.
Thanh Nam and Tra Nhieu are just two of the fishing villages that rely on the South China Sea to stay afloat. A tour of these villages provides great insight into local Vietnamese life and tends to come with far less crowds than the center of Hoi An.
