I am an Indian housewife, born and brought up in Jaipur. Girls are taught cooking at a young age in Rajasthan and I learnt Indian cuisine from my mother and grandmother. Cooking is essential for my family’s bonding, vitality, and traditions. I am lucky to be married to an open-minded husband who supports me and helps me when hosting cooking lessons at home.

My cooking lessons experience is all about unique Rajasthani local experience, you will learn cooking techniques with your hosts ( Pooja & Isha ). You can Put on the apron & dabble in almost everything - kneading, frying, peeling, chopping, blending, roasting - it isn't just about tasting food, it is about feeling it from the core. The dining experience in a family home helps in exchanging cultures and make new friends. 

Your host will be sharing his/her local knowledge with you when dinner is being prepared. You will learn about the traditions of home life, arranged marriages, joint families - and of course, the Rajasthani food !

Many a chefs make good food, but only a few do it with the homely feeling and passion that Chef Divya Kalwara radiates. Born of a royal bloodline, Divya did her schooling from Maharani Gayatri Devi School, Jaipur. She completed her masters in Psychology from Indraprasth College, Delhi University. Sharing a deep bond with food, she conditioned herself to become a professional chef, featuring in famed journals such as London Times and Washington Post. Having her cultural values deeply rooted in her, Divya's cooking is very much inspired from her ancestry. Her mother and her grandma were her childhood teachers who taught her their famous traditional royal 'Rajputi' recipes. Her mother in law also taught her some of her cooking secrets.'
