The basics

The D Las Vegas boasts two levels of gambling, along with 638 rooms, restaurants including Joe Vicari’s popular Andiamo Steakhouse and the American Coney Island restaurant (the only one outside of Detroit), and bars such as the Long Bar, with its 100-foot (30-meter) bar. Thanks to its proximity to the Fremont Street Experience, hotel guests have easy access to plenty of live entertainment including concerts from local and big-name artists.

How to get there

The D Las Vegas is about a 20-minute drive away from the Las Vegas airport. Ride-sharing services and taxis are readily available in Las Vegas, and the hotel has a taxi stand located on the west side. Airport shuttles are also available for an additional fee and can be booked at the hotel.

Check-in time at The D Las Vegas begins at 3pm and checkout is at noon. Expect the biggest crowds in spring and fall, thanks to the comfortable temperatures. Weekends are also busy as that’s typically when people from big cities like Los Angeles head to Sin City to party.

Fremont Street Experience

This massive 4-block outdoor mall features concerts, lights shows, and multiple casinos, as well as its dazzling Viva Vision canopy with colorful projections that are best viewed at night. Other attractions include the SlotZilla zipline, the Neon Museum, and the Mob Museum, as well as the Downtown Container Park, which is an open-air shopping center filled with boutiques, restaurants, and more entertainment options.
