The Basics

The seaside town of Estoril is most commonly visited as part of a day trip to Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to iconic attractions such as Pena National Palace and the National Palace of Sintra (Palácio Nacional de Sintra). These tours, which allow you to skip the stress of navigating winding mountain roads, typically include convenient hotel pickup and drop-off and a photo stop at Cabo da Roca, Europe’s westernmost point.

Great tour and excellent tour guide
We had a great day tour thanks to our guide Joao! He was a wealth of information and we learned so much of the history behind every stop we made that day. There was only one other person besides me and my husband so it made the tour so personalized. FYI- Pena Palace in Sintra was beautiful but be sure to wear comfortable shoes. There was a lot of uphill walking to get to the palace.
