Sóller is about a 15-minute drive from the coast, and you can easily see the highlights of the town—including the botanic garden and Saint Bartholomew Church—in a single day. An overnight stay gives you the chance to venture on foot or by bike into the mountains or explore the Port de Sóller. Full-day tours of Mallorca’s northern reaches usually stop by Sóller along with attractions like the Canyon de la Calobra and Valldemossa.

Swap Palma’s hustle and bustle for a visit to Mallorcan wine country in Binissalem; seek sanctuary in Lluc; or soak up the sights in Valldemossa. Party animals can head about a half hour west to Magaluf, known for its after-dark appeal.
