American Airlines Arena

The basics

The Miami-Dade Arena has 2,105 club seats, 80 luxury suites, and 76 private boxes—there is also space for standing-room-only ticket holders. Within the arena, the Waterfront Theater is Florida's largest theater and can seat between 3,000 and 5,800 for concerts and other stage shows. Tickets for Miami Heat games are mobile-only, which means you won’t need a paper ticket to enter the arena.

The arena does not allow tours of the facility. When it is not in use, maintenance is typically being performed. You can, however, admire the exterior architecture on some sightseeing tours of Miami.

Watch the Players

When the team is in town to play a home game, the Miami Heat allows fans with valid tickets to a Miami Heat home game to watch players warm-up prior to the start of the game. This takes place from the time doors open to the public until the end of the 15-minute shoot-around.
