The Basics

Founded atop a 20th-century steel foundry, Fundidora Park is now one of Monterrey’s most well-loved parks that’s popular among local families and visitors alike. There’s something to suit most, with children’s museums tailored to the youngest visitors, indoor ice rinks suitable for the whole family, and concert halls ideal for culture fiends. Ride a boat down the Santa Lucía river, rent a bike and make the most of the cycle paths, take to the water in a swan-shaped pedalo, or join the runners, rollerskaters, and skateboarders instead, before learning about the park’s past life at the Museo del Acero Horno 3.

Fantastic
This tour was great. Our guide was friendly and was always willing to jump in and take photos for us. This was our first tour in Mexico, and I'd definitely recommend it. We were always in and out of the car seeing different areas of Monterrey, and our guide was there explaining it. Thanks!

The Best Parks in Mexico

Fundidora Park is easily one of the best parks in Monterrey, but there are plenty more green spaces for travelers to appreciate in Mexico. In Mexico City, Chapultepec Park is full of modern art museums, nature trails, and even a hilltop castle, while Parque Independencia in Guadalajara offers sweeping vistas over the canyon below.
