You can book and pay for VR experiences in advance. Only VR ticket holders are guaranteed entry to the store.
Photography is actively encouraged in all parts of the store, except during the VR experience.

The entrance to the Harry Potter New York Store is located on 22nd Street between 5th Avenue and Broadway. It’s easy to arrive on foot from nearby attractions such as Madison Square Park and the Empire State Building, where many hop-on hop-off bus tours also stop. The closest subway station is on 23rd Street on the BMT Broadway Line.
The store opens every day, closing earlier on Sundays. Expect longer lines on weekends and especially school holidays. To avoid the crowds, try to arrive around opening time on a weekday.
