KidZania Sao Paulo is a replica of a real city—scaled to a child’s size—and includes buildings and shops, as well as vehicles and pedestrians that move along its streets. Inside, children perform simulated activities that range from piloting an airplane, working in a barber’s shop. firefighting, and attending cooking school.
Children earn kidZos (KidZania currency) while performing the tasks, which they can spend at the gift shop. Kids also have the option to open their own personal savings account at KidZania Bank; they receive their own bank card, which they can use to pay for activities. KidZania is located in Shopping Eldorado, a major shopping center in Pinheiros, in the western part of the city of São Paulo. From Monday through Saturday, KidZania São Paulo is open from midday to early evening. On Sundays it opens for a couple of hours in the afternoon. During local summer holidays—which span December and January—booking your admission ticket in advance is guaranteed to save you time on the day.
