Şirince, a small village of just 600 inhabitants, has a long history dating back to the fall of Ephesus. Today, the mountainous town is mainly known for its well-preserved stucco homes, olive groves, and wineries with verdant backdrops. St. John the Baptist Church is another popular attraction, adorned with stunning Byzantine frescoes.
Great Day our and Great and knowledgeable Guide, we had Memhet for the day and he was very knowledgeable and took lots of time to explain. Lunch was a traditional Turkish meal which was also very good.
The best tour I had in Izmir! Our guide was so knowledgeable and passionate about the culture and history. He was so helpful and warm hearted. The tour itself was well organised and we spent a descent time in Ephesus ancient city and learnt a lot! Definitely recommending this tour.
Was a great tour! My only thing was the guide had a low speaking voice so hard to hear and the rug demo was a bit long and pushy. Other than that fully enjoy the old town and hot sand Turkish chai. As well as Ephesus was wondwrdul
Fantastic tour with an excellent guide. I recommend it! I was brought around and the guide was full of interesting insights and able to answer every question I posed.
I loved the tour and the guide was very good and informative. However the Ephesus tour should have been atleast 3 hrs and should have included terraced housed of wealthy people.
Melike was our fabulous tour guide and made for us a day filled with learning about the Ephesus area. Melike is a local a truly knows the history of Ephesus. A great experience.
Oh. My. Guide! Nazim, our guide was such a blast. He was funny and made history more interesting than one could ever imagine. It was a tour that took much of the day so wear comfy shoes. We had lunch at a local spot and there was more than enough food to eat- were vegetarian and they were accommodating with food as well. We went to a local town for wine tasting/ice cream & shopping.Thank you Nazim for being the best guide ever!
This was amazing, I unfortunately cannot remember my guides name but she was amazing I think it was Serbu, she was very knowledgeable about all the places we visited but what I liked the most is that she knew exactly what time to take us to all the sites to avoid the crowds. Big ups for that. She was pleasant and did not mind to play photographer too. Sirince is a must see quaint town and is incorporated into this tour which is an added bonus. Lunch was great and overall this trip was amazing. The tour operator also communicated and was on time for pick-up. Definitely recommend it
Nizam is a very friendly and knowledgeable local to the area. The food was fantastic and all the shops were nice and not overselly but rather very informative on their process whether it be pottery making, gold making, carpet making, cotton making. They gave us a tutorial of each in addition to beating the heat and skipping the lines. The food and wine were fantastic! Loved everything!
Our guide, Nissizan , was punctual. He was very good with our young kids. Often explaining many times in a kid friendly way. Super knowledgeable. Loved our tour of Ephesus and the Virgin Mary house. The Sirence village was also cute. Overall very professional experience!
