One of the original Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the marble Temple of Artemis (Artemision or Artemisium at Ephesus once spanned more than 63,000 square feet (around 5,850 square meters. Today all that remains of 127 original columns plus countless frescoes and statues is a teetering pillar and some foundation fragments.
Our quide Umut Kurt wonderful personality with above average knowledge of his history of his beloved country’s past and present. Went out of his way to accommodate our personal experience. We were met and greeted at the cruise port our transport was very clean and comfortable . Thank you.
Bihter our tour guide was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our trip to Efesus and its surroundings. We learned a lot of history while enjoying the magnificent views of the ancient city.
The best tour I had in Izmir! Our guide was so knowledgeable and passionate about the culture and history. He was so helpful and warm hearted. The tour itself was well organised and we spent a descent time in Ephesus ancient city and learnt a lot! Definitely recommending this tour.
The only site worth visiting is the Ephesus Ancient city, everything else for me was a waste of time. Lunch was great and Barb was a great tour guide. It was September and still quite hot. An umbrella for Ephesus is essential.
I loved the tour and the guide was very good and informative. However the Ephesus tour should have been atleast 3 hrs and should have included terraced housed of wealthy people.
We were lucky as we had the entire van for ourselves. The guide was lovely. We stopped in Ephesus and Virgin Mary's House, and we had two intermediate stops to a bazar and a leather shop. These extra stops were meant to upsell product to us, which it wasn't great as prices were inflated.
We had to pay parking fee which it was meant to be included (€3) and we didn't receive any lunch as described in the offer. Despite this, the team was kind and welcoming.
Very good half day trip. Was extremely hot and no shade so prepare yourself with water, sun cream, fan, water spray etc.
Our tour started at the top and we walked downhill all the way which was good. Drink shop at the bottom nr the library area.
Our guide Olg was very nice, full of information, took photos for us and helpful.
We then popped to a leather shop and had a fashion show (which was OK but a bit awkward).
Then we got took back to port where we had got on.
Thankyou, was fun x
Ata was our tour guide and was fantastic!! He gave us so much information and was very helpful with any of our questions. He even took us to some off the beaten path restaurant for a local lunch. Everything was top notch. Thank you Ata!
This was the most amazing excursion i have ever been on. Our tour guide went above and beyond to give us the best experience. It was worth every penny.
I booked a guided tour to Ephesus online. Everything was perfectly organized, we couldn't be more satisfied. We had a private driver, Gülşah was our incredibly cute and very professional guide and everything went well. We were picked up from the hotel and eventually dropped back. Couldn't be more comfortable. Ephesus Tour is highly recommended. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience.
Melike was our fabulous tour guide and made for us a day filled with learning about the Ephesus area. Melike is a local a truly knows the history of Ephesus. A great experience.
