Our chef will tell us all about their farm and will teach us how to prepare different types of pasta; she will teach us the secrets to making it well and will give us advice on preparing the right sauce for each type. The quad adventure will let us experience Umbria in a different way and let us see a bit of nature in the green heart of Italy. We’ll firstly take a visit to the olive oil museum, where this precious product is illustrated through museum objects retracing its history and analyzing its countless virtues. Only a few steps away from this fascinating museum, and we are faced with 5000 years of history narrated through archaeological finds and artifacts that document the role of wine in Mediterranean civilization. And if it is true that knowing is at the basis of taste, at the end of the museum tour, we’ll enjoy a rich wine tasting and brunch in a prestigious winery, in which Torgiano wines and olive oils will be the undisputed protagonists. After lunch, we will reach Assisi for a fun guided excursion in ATV quad along a naturalistic trail in Mount Subasio with a pleasant stop in the forest for an aperitif included.

Experience the best of Assisi and its surrounding hills with this unique experience that combines a city walking tour with an ATV excursion through the nearby countryside. Learn about the medieval history of the old town as you take in the Basilica of St. Francis and other highlights with your guide. Relax over lunch (own expense), then hop on an ATV for a ride on the slopes of Mt. Subasio.

During this workshop we will come into contact with an Umbrian tradition: butchery. That of the pork butcher is a very ancient profession, and Umbria, in particular, has managed to make it a real culinary art renowned since Roman times. Today our chef will talk about the anatomy of the pig, the different types of cuts and he will teach us all the secrets of this culinary tradition: from the basic techniques to the processing of the meat, up to the salting and maturing of the meat , and the making of sausages . At the end, we will be able to enjoy a well-deserved lunch with the results of our work accompanied by other typical Umbrian products! The ATV ride will give you the chance to discover an unexpected side of Umbria: you will see the nature surrounding Assisi in Mount Subasio in an ATV with a pleasant stop in the forest for an aperitif included. The activity is guided and has a duration of about 1 hour along a naturalistic trail of great beauty.

After lunch, we will reach Mount Subasio for a fun experience that will give us the chance to live Umbria from a different point of view.
