With its glassy blue waters framed by jagged mountains and lush alpine meadows, King’s Lake (Königssee) is one of Bavaria’s most beautiful. The natural wonder lies within Berchtesgaden National Park, offering a majestic backdrop for hiking and cruises.
Stefan is an experienced, helpful and fun tour guide. Had a wonderful day seeing the Lake, the Eagles Nest and the Obersalzberg area. Pickup was on-time, excellent driving and very knowledgeable about the area. Stefan even found us a covid testing site on our tour route so we could test in preparation for our return flight the following day. A private comfortable van with an experienced driver and fun tour guide made this a special day to remember. Thank you Stefan!!
Excellent! Excellent! Excellent! Sepp our tour guide was outstanding- he was everything we had hoped for & more. Very professional & knowledgeable. This was the highlight of our trip & would highly recommend!!
Our family of five, enjoyed our private tour with Carlos to the eagles nest and the surrounding areas. The Mercedes van was extremely comfortable, and Carlos was a knowledgeable and kind and considerate tour guide. We were traveling with my older mother with some minor mobility issues, but all was well, and we were very well catered to. My son particularly enjoyed Carlos‘s perspective on the history of the eagles nest.
The tour was a great experience. It is well worth going on. The lake and the surrounding mountains are breathtakingly beautiful Going up to Hitler’s eagle nest was equally fantastic. The views from there are amazing. Philip the guide was great. He gave us options as to what we could do. I highly recommend this tour
This was a beautiful tour. The lake was peaceful & the views from Eagle’s Nest were stunning. We added the salt mine which was so fun. We had family in our group from 12 - 75. Everyone loved the extra adventure. It makes you feel young. We couldn’t ask for a better guide, Karl felt like family by the end of the day.
Busy day but with a very good organization. Fortunately, organized with Philip, at the foot of the accommodation, who knows this organization inside out and who has oiled all this machinery.
This has a cost, but without it, the visits could not have taken place.
We had also chosen not to visit the salt mines, and it was a good choice because we enjoyed the lake all morning with a very nice walk, then the Eagle's Nest where we spent the afternoon. It was a reasonable pace, as there is a lot of road to get to this place
Katrin was our guide. Was very friendly and accommodating. Would recommend. We were held up a bit in traffic running a tad late and she had no problem with us getting a meal even when time was running late....
Thanks so much to Stefan and Armin for the very specific tour, and for doing so much work to make it great! Armin was very nice, and handled a few hiccups in the tour very well :) We had a great time, and really appreciate it so much! Thanks, highly reccommend!
