The Basics

Guests of the Flames of the Forest Cultural Experience have two different experiences to choose from. The Aboriginal Cultural Experience celebrates the culture of the Kuku Yalanji people through storytelling, didgeridoo, and song, while the Rainforest Dining Experience is a more low-key, romantic event with live acoustic guitar music. Both include a multi-course plated dinner served alongside Australian wine and beer.

Tjapukai Night Fire

If you’re in the area on a night when Flames of the Forest is closed (or simply want to try something different for a night out), the Tjapukai people host their own dinner show, called Night Fire. This lakeside performance features a buffet dinner and a live cultural performance inspired by the legends of Queensland’s wet and dry seasons.
