The basics

Also known as Los Viveros—a nickname which means “The Nurseries,” owing to the park’s former role as a tree nursery—the Valencia Royal Gardens are one of the city’s most popular outdoor destinations. In addition to its fountains, sculptures, walking trails, and ornamental gardens, this green space is also home to the Natural Science Museum of Valencia (Museu de Ciències Naturals), a concert hall, and several architectural features and historical landmarks.

The centrally located park is easy to explore independently and can also be seen on several bike and Segway tours.
