The flights in the ski plane and helicopter were different but both were amazing! But we had to wait 20 minutes in very hot sun before loading at the airport and for that I took off a star.

An amazing experience to fly over Mt Cook in perfect weather and land on the top of the Tasman Glacier by helicopter. Then the plane down was just as memorable. This experience is hard to compare

Landing on the glacier was fabulous, we liked doing it with the helicopter better than the ski plane, but you get a different view from one vs. the other. This company did a fabulous job balancing safety and giving us a good experience. The day before, there had been a lot of rain, so they could not land on the Tasman glacier, but they took us took us to the Franze Joseph glacier instead. it was an amazing experience.

I did not do the combo as it did not have enough people so it was a 45 minute helicopter and glacier experience. The pilot was great, the views were amazing and it was a beautiful sunny day. I would definitely recommend.

Cancelled trip

Booked the flight even before I depart for nz. Drove all the way to lake tekapo and noticed the weather was quite bad. Didn’t receive any emails on cancellation when the flight up is the very next day. Drove all the way to mt cook and called them only to know it’s cancelled and they are not even operating! I understand it’s due to the weather but the least the company can do is call/email on the cancellation. Time wastage. Hope this communication bit can be improved. Money is not refunded immediately too

Hi! The whole thing was quite unsatisfactory. After several calls we agreed that I would arrive from Tekapo, at least over an hour's drive, but the event will take place a little later. When we arrived we were told that there can only be one helicopter flight. It looked like this: 22 minutes flight and 20 minutes break on a glacier dump. We were passed without comment. We loved the trip we took with the Mount Cook Ski Plane and Helicopter. The office folks were pleasant and professional. The trip was amazing. We ended up going to Franz Joseph Glacier as the Tasman Glacier wasn't a viable option that day. We highly recommend this trip!
