Dear James,
I read your review very carefully and I realized that you didn’t know how to use the Tripadvisor communication center/platform in order to respond to my messages. However, I don’t see how I can be held responsible for this.
I sent a message the previous day asking to change the time of the tour but since you didn’t answer, I started the tour the time you booked it. On that day, there was another guest who came at the right meeting spot, at the right time. I asked him if we could wait 10 minutes for you, so we did. I sent you several messages and called you many times at your mobile phone (the one you provided as a contact number) but I didn’t get any response. I also sent you my selfie in front of the meeting point (evidence that I was at the right place, the right time).
Since you didn’t show up, I decided to send you our next stop and address so that you could join us. An hour later you called me (using a different phone number), so I provided the exact address where we could meet, but you said that it was already too late since you were far away. You asked to move the tour the next day and I told you that I would check my schedule and let you know after finishing the tour with my other guest. I was very clear that I couldn’t guarantee availability for the next day, that’s why I insisted on joining us but you denied.
I kept all my messages, calls and the selfie photo that I sent you on that day as evidence. We haven’t received any refund request or messages from you, so you might want to check again where you sent your message/request. Also, you should know that a refund is not asked through a bad review. You should contact TripAdvisor customer support for such a request.
