A ride back into the wilderness!

We enjoyed the beautiful scenery on the way back to the cookout. It was freezing cold for this Florida native, but there were warm Pendleton blankets on the wagon and they certainly came in handy. The best part was the hot drinks waiting for us back at the pavilion. I had two cups of hot apple cider which were excellent. Beth, our driver, was delightful and narrated the countryside as we went by. The food was good! I would recommend this as a great family or friend outing while in Banff.

We had a bear right next to us coming back from dinner! Our crew was excellent and gave lots of information. Dinner was really nice. The fire was a wonderful addition since it was a cold rainy evening

The wagon ride is through a very nice area, complete with a river for most of the ride. The meal was in a very nice setting and the quality of the food was very good. We agreed that it was a good trip.

Ride in the rain

Great experience riding in the wagon and watching the all female crew. They were excellent. The food was delicious and plenty. Even though it was raining, we were warm and dry.

We had Oliver and Bec as drivers and they were so kind and knowledgeable! I think Sarah was the cook and she made the best meal we had in Banff the entire time we were there. We loved this experience and I want to come back for the sleigh ride in the winter! Loved this so much!!

Great ride and amazing views you wouldn’t see easily otherwise. If you can climb into a wagon then it’s a great way to see part of the park if you’re low mobility. The guides were super nice.

I took the covered wagon ride w/ cowboy cookout with my husband + 2 kids (ages 5 + 8). We had a wonderful evening — the campsite was very clean, food was delicious. Our guide, Brooklyn, was fantastic — very engaging. The kids loved trying lassoing at the campsite. Everyone was very kind + professional. It was a great night in nature that we will remember fondly! Highly recommend for families with small kids.
