Vi hämtar inte från hotell utanför Beirut, eller från vandrarhem, airbnb och privata lägenheter. I så fall ska gästerna komma till vårt kontor klockan 08:00 för att bli med i turnén. Om hotellet inte tillhandahölls 48 timmar före resans avresedatum, ska gästerna vara närvarande vid vårt kontor klockan 08:00, eftersom ingen hämtning kommer att lämnas för sista minuten hotellinformation.

Jag rekommenderar starkt denna resa till alla som besöker Libanon för första gången! Alla tre sajterna är otroliga, jag kan inte ens rangordna vilken som var min favorit. Grottan på Jeitta var overklig, jag kan inte tro att sådan skönhet finns i den här världen. Reseföretaget är pålitligt och professionellt, och reseguiden var mycket kunnig och stolt över hennes libanesiska arv och historia.

En välplanerad och lysande upplevelse

Vi hade en fantastisk dagstur med guide Georgette, som var vänlig och mycket kunnig om historien och arkeologin för de platser vi besökte. Turnén var bra - att besöka tre olika platser och lunch känns som det kan vara mycket att pressa in, men vi kände oss inte rusade och hade en god tid på varje webbplats (inklusive för foton!) Så kändes som vi gjorde det mesta av vår tid. Jeita Grotto var först med en självledd rundtur i den övre grotten och en båttur i den nedre grotten. En mycket vacker plats men var medveten om att du ombeds låsa dina telefoner / kameror i skåp för att respektera reglerna för inga foton. Sedan åkte vi till Harissa / Our Lady of Lebanon (helt enkelt hisnande vyer och väldigt lugnt!) Och efter en linbiltur ner till Jounieh körde vi till Byblos. Där gav Georgette oss en mycket informativ rundtur i citadellet före lunch (läcker varm + kall mezze och blandad grill). Vi fick lite fritid i Byblos för att utforska soukarna innan vi åkte tillbaka till Beirut. Detta kändes som en mycket välplanerad utflykt och Nakhal tar hand om allt, inklusive att hämta oss och släppa oss på vårt hotell i början och slutet av dagen. Turnén varade inte riktigt en hel dag (vi kom tillbaka i Beirut cirka klockan 16) men vi var en liten engelsktalande grupp så om din grupp är större med flera språk så kan det vara längre. Jag skulle rekommendera denna turné till alla eftersom det är ett bra sätt att se några olika ikoniska sevärdheter i Libanon, och vi har verkligen haft det!

Stor attraktion, dålig guideservice

Bekväm stor buss, utsökt mat i bra restaurang intill havet med utsikt, men TOUR GUIDE Romeo var BELLOW någon standard. . Respekten för att prata 3 språk (arabiska, engelska, franska) till hela gruppen, men hans kunskap och information som han lämnade kan passa på halv A 4-papper, mycket generellt och i slutändan inte intressant eftersom du måste vänta på att han säger några meningar På 3 språk. På Jeita-grottens webbplats förlorade han några medlemmar i gruppen och lämnade utan dem, som var arga på honom senare. . .

Worst viator tour

First and foremost the bus was late 45 minutes. The company didn't bother to give a heads up regarding the same which used to happen with other tours previously booked through Viator. The guide did not bother to apologise for the delay which was totally unacceptable. Terrible time management at Byblos. Once visiting the site at least 2h without doing anything. The guide was supposed to tour us around the exterior of the castle but instead she sat for 2h talking about personal issues with another traveller. Really disappointing.

Too crowded

The destinations were interesting. However, the tour group had 41people which made it impossible to hear anything. We spent time making sure everyone was accouted for, which was a task! Also, tours were bilingual which took twice as long as we had to sit through the same explanation in English and French. There were enough people to have 2 groups and split languages.

BAD GUIDE

First of all, the lady guide wasted a lot of our time. She stopped at THREE different ATM locations for one guest just because she wanted some cash and could not get her card to work, which wasted huge amounts of time for all of us. She only stopped taking her to the fourth stop because we all complained!!! This is a group tour, the guide cannot stop at so many stops for the need of one guest!! Secondly, her English is so poor that it was much easier understanding the instructions on the walls than listening to her. Beirut taxi drivers all have better English than her.

The jeito grotto visit was excellent, the visit to Byblos and Harissa were good too. The tour would have been more enjoyable if we’d a arranged a driver for the day and visited the sights independently. The tour guide from Nakhal (a lady whose name I forget) was disorganised, her English was poor despite being advertised as fluent, and she lacked the ability to corral the group resulting in significant delays as people kept straying and not abiding to time limits. The lunch included was sub-standard for both vegetarians and meat-eaters, a restaurant at Byblos with good reviews and an impressive menu were ignored. Instead we were given a mix of American food with the token Lebanese mezze thrown in at a seafront restaurant that lacked character. All in all a disappointing tour, glad we didn’t also book the Baalbeck tour with the same company.

Fantastic tour & very professional agency

I took that tour with my during our first visit to Lebanon and it was a blast. The sights are an absolute must-see when in Lebanon, but they are not the main reason of my high satisfaction. It is the tour agency itself that offered an absolute high end service. Everything was perfectly organized and exactly on time. They confirmed to pick us up from our hotel at 7:45AM and exactly at 7:45AM their representative came into the hotel lobby looking for us. They transferred us to their office in the city, where at 8:30AM sharp the whole tour departed in a comfortable, clean, and well air conditioned coach. The ride between the spots was smooth, safe, and very efficient. They know their way around the country, so as to avoid extensive traffic. The guide was talking a lot of sense and we well prepared. All expenses are included and the staff is so professional that they will even warn you before going to place, where street vendors might try to rip you off. Lunch is absolutely superb with plenty of delicious, truly local food, and drinks are included, so no extra charges there. We both ate everything and had no stomach problems whatsoever. The tour finished exactly on time and we were delivered back right to doorstep of our hotel. Great experience, which is actually hard to come by in the region.

This day trip is well worth doing if you want to see some amazing sights. The Jeita grotto is beautiful and Harissa and Byblos are such interesting places to see. The views are amazing in both. The lunch which is included in the price is great too. Lebanese mezze which will certainly fill you up. Great day out.

The bus came on time to pick us from our hotel in Hamra. Our travel guide (Mia) was knowledgeable and pleasant. The food was nice as well (a local tavern in Byblos). Recommended!

Lovely Guided Tour!

We had a great time on this tour through Byblos, Jeita and Harissa. We had a friendly guide (unfortunately I have forgotten his name) who was able to explain the history of each spot very well. The included lunch was delicious, it's hard to go wrong with Lebanese food! I highly recommend this who want to see all of these famous spots in 1 day, managing it on your own to get around would be tough without a local.

Incredible places/ details could have been clearer

We enjoyed our trip and seeing these amazing places. That being said, we felt rushed at Byblos and our guide was not clear on the details of how long we were staying. She also did not inform us when and where we were going to eat lunch. We would have seen much more of Byblos if we would have known we only had an hour there. Too much to see in just one hour. It's a good way to get a glimpse of three places and a delicious Lebanese meal in one day. Tip: Ask what the whole day schedule is before the trip begins. Would be nice if this was clearly outlined online or day of.

Hello, I thought that I should share my personal experience that I received yesterday from one of your guides. The lady was excellent at her job - showing an in depth knowledge of all the places visited. I believe her name was Mia. She answered all questions with a breadth of knowledge - that I frankly didn't expect. She took her time to ask what language we as a group, would like to converse in. She was asked to speak in both French and English, she did this with great aplomb. She took all questions in her stride and had time for everyone - a great asset to The food we had was excellent too, everyone commented on this at my table. Excellent day trip. Well organized throughout, with arranged pick ups and drop offs. Lucy was knowledgeable and happy to assist with every query. Two minor issues though: Since Lower Grotto was inaccessible due to excessive rain the day before (understandable), I was expecting to have more free time at Byblos, however we only had 30 minutes free time there, which was not enough to do anything. Had we visited the Lower Grotto too, I really wonder, how much free time we'd have in Byblos! Lunch was excellent though and the driver very cautious and professional. So the only downside for me is the free time in Byblos, which should ideally be an hour. I understand your staff has homes to return to and they only work for 8hrs a day, but you should also realize that many visitors will not be able to ever return to Lebanon, and this is their one and only chance to see what this amazing country has to offer. We are there to enjoy, explore, see as much as we can. So maybe you should look into adjusting your schedules, your staffing options, or offer different packages, maybe with a longer option, I don't know, I am just feeling that I would happily stay for another 30-45 minutes in Byblos - and all this without seeing the Lower Grotto, which was an extra reason to force me to write this. But overall a good and recommended experience - but if any fellow travelers feel like enjoying Byblos maybe they should look into arranging alternatives privately.

This tou is a must. The Jeita Grotto is the best we have seen. A remarkable place. The views from the mountain at Harissa are stunning as is the cable car ride down. Byblos is excellent. The ruins are spectacular.

A must tour in Lebanon

This single tour enabled us to visit three key attractions in Lebanon. The bus, the tour guide expert in 3 languages (French, Arabic, and English), tour management, hotel pick-up, and drop, and the lunch were very high quality. These really exceeded our expectations. It saved us a lot of time.

The Trip was overall very good. The guide was briiliant and was very inspirering to listen to. But the driver who did the hotel pick-up drove like an crazy, and from where I was sitting, I dont want to think what could happend in a emergency braking situation. At the same time he was very rude to one of the other guests. Next time.. please find a new driver.
