Vid ankomsten till nyrenässansunderverket, byggt på 1800-talet för den rumänska kungafamiljen, utforska några av slottets 160 rum, som alla är utsmyckade med lyxiga klädslar och antika möbler. Beundra en rad stilar, inklusive gotisk, barock och fransk rokoko, innan du fortsätter till Sinaia-klostret.

När vi gav oss ut på en äventyrlig utforskning av Östeuropa med vänner, snubblade vi över en riktig skatt - Rumänien! Detta fängslande land dök upp som höjdpunkten på vår resa och skapade minnen som vi kommer att vårda. Peles historiska storslagenhet? och Cantacuzino slott lämnade oss vördnad - slog. Rumänien gjorde ingen besviken när jag steg in i mitt 100:e land. Pele? Slottet, inbäddat bland Karpaterna, var ett fängslande spektakel som konkurrerade med många europeiska landmärken. Lika övertygande var slottet Cantacuzino med sin Netflix-berömmelse. Det som stod ut var dock vinprovningen på Cantacuzino. Denna rumänska turné är en obestridd 5-stjärnig upplevelse, som erbjuder en unik blandning av kulturarv, filmattraktion och gudomliga viner.

Fan, vilken tid jag hade i Rumänien! Pele? Castle var som att kliva in i en tidsmaskin, full av käftslös skönhet och fascinerande berättelser. Och slottet Cantacuzino? Lika coolt! De filmade till och med en Netflix-show där. Men höjdpunkten var definitivt vinprovningen. En 5-stjärnig upplevelse helt klart. Rumänska viner? Topp - notch! We opted to do a private tour due to my wife's car sickness. Felt she would be better in a car than a bus on the switchback roads. Not only was it good for her the guide was fantastic!! We had Alex as our guide and he was very informative, knowledgeable, nice and full of good hints. I would book a trip with him whenever possible.

An amazing day in Romania!!

Our day trip with our guide Dan was just what we wanted. Visiting the Castle’s this time of year (April) was perfect. Not to long of lines and we were able to really spend the right amount of time at each. Our Guide, Dan was so knowledgeable of the history not only of the castles but of Romania as well. We learned so much. Would love to go back to Brasov some day and spend more time there. Well worth the day trip!!

Worth the trip from Bucharest

Alex picked us up from our hotel and gave us a wonderful history lesson on our way up to the castles. We enjoyed Bran and Peles Castles and the town of Brasov. We were a few days ahead of our tours on our riverboat cruise and knocked out these 3 places so that we could have a chance to see more things during our boat tours. Perfect day! We all would recommend Alex...we all enjoyed him and his expertise.

Our guide was Alex and he was awesome right from the start. We spent 13 hours with him and we felt completely at ease throughout the day. Nothing was too much trouble with Alex - he encouraged us to take as long as we wished wherever we visited. He was fabulous to converse with - informative, passionate about Romania and clearly wanting us to make the most of the country, too. If you are lucky enough to spend a day with Alex, you are in for a real treat he plays the best tunes ever - driving through the Bucegi Mountains singing along to AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck' is an experience we'll never forget. Book with this company for guides!!

This was an amazing tour! Cristi, our tour guide was such a nice guy and a very knowledgeable guide. He picked us up from our hotel and we travel in a very comfortable car with AC. For all the attractions we visited, he took care of the priority entry and explained all the history and facts so well. We were mesmerized by the beauty of the Peles Castle. We believe it to be one of the most beautiful castle you could ever see in Eastern Europe. Cristi explained all the details and each room's specifics. He made our tour so enjoyable and had a great time together. We also got to stop at Sinaia Monastery which is such a gem. We also loved the Bran Castle and how Cristi explained its history, and we enjoyed the trip to Brasov and visit to the Black Church. We highly recommend this tour to all tourists visiting Romania.

I can say that I felt in love with Romania and his spectaculars landscape. I really enjoyed to learn the Romanian history trough the story of the royal family , the legend of Dracula and the religious events. I was lucky to have a guide full of information that she gave me at the best moments of the trip. Very good communication in French and English that make me feel comfortable in a friendly ambiance. I really recommend this trip to everyone who likes nature and history together with a nice and cosy trip inside the Romanian Carpati. I

Lovely tour! The tour guide picked me up from the hotel reception and we had a lovely conversation about Bucharest and Romania during the last 100 years. Christy is a great tour guide, that provides you a lot of information so the time passed really quickly until we arrived to Peles Castle. The traffic was okay, but Christy told me that sometimes there is traffic jam, because of the large number of tourists that visit the attractions, so I was lucky to spend resonable time in the car. Dracula's castle was a bit crowded, but I guess that's normal, judging by its wonderful history. For lunch, the tour guide suggested we have some traditional food which made me realize how amazing Romanian Cuisine is! Overall, it was an amazing experience and since I am staying for another week in Bucharest, I am planning to have another tour. Great value for the money spent!
