Great ride on Vesuvius

Had a wonderful time with the horses. Carlo was very friendly, relaxed and professional. The ride was easy in a beautiful landscape. We enjoyed local wine, mozzarella, bruchettas and olives after the tour and Carlo took us to a different train station so we could go to Pompeii in the afternoon without having to go to Naples. Much appreciated!

Carlo is such a lovely person who picked us up from the train station (not pompeii station). The horses were well behaved and easy to ride from beginners to experienced riders. The views and ride was lovely. Dont expect to go to the main crater. Carlo showed us one of the smaller craters and some other parts of the mountain. The atmosphere and hospitality were amazing. We loved every minute of it. Highly recommend this tour.

Magical Trip

Very peaceful and relaxing day on the back of friendly horses in the outskirts of Naples. The owner Carlo was super friendly and took us by car from the trainstation to his ranch. After 1 hour of riding we ended the trip by giving the horses some carrots and enjoyed some very good local wine and delicious bruschetta with buffalo mozzarella. After the dinner and some joyful talking, Carlo took us back to the trainstation. His good dog Django was a loyal fellow all the way and guided us on the way. All in all it was a very enjoyable trip and we would recommend it to anyone who loves animals and nature. The perfect time to learn about the quite site of Naples.

Awesome way to experience Vesuv, far away from mass tourism

We had an awesome trip with Carlo riding at Vesuv! He picked us up at the train station and after a short ride by car, we were at his place. We were really lucky and the only ones doing the tour. We had no real experience riding, so Carlo gave us a short introduction. The horses are really calm and also very good for inexperienced riders. The nature at Vesuv is really beautiful and Carlo was a really good guide, telling interesting stories about the Vesuv‘s history and it’s appearance today. After the ride, we had some really good snacks for lunch made of local products (bruschetta, fresh mozzarella, olives, a special fish) and could taste the delicious local wine. Thanks again for this beautiful adventure!

The instructor Carlo is super patient and professional, which helped me to gain confidence handling the horse. Carlo is very passionate and knowledge about horses. Totally enjoyed chatting with him about horses and life experience after the horse riding session. Carlo is also a very good host and that makes the experience a even more enjoyable one for me. If you are in Naples, this is a must try. Would certainly comeback again when I am in Naples.

Carlo è una persona gentilissima e molto simpatica, ci ha fatto passare una mattinata indimenticabile. All’arrivo è venuto a prenderci alla stazione di Pollena Trocchia, insieme al suo bellissimo cane Django, da lì ci ha informati su tutte le peculiarità del luogo, facendoci capire tutte le diversità presenti e le loro caratteristiche, in modo da essere consapevoli a pieno di ciò che stavamo vedendo. I cavalli erano tenuti molto bene e si vede l’affetto che c’è tra Carlo e i suoi cavalli. Anche l’aperitivo impeccabile, con bruschette al pomodoro del Vesuvio, olive e mozzarella di bufala, il tutto accompagnato da un vino locale. Oltre a ciò, per tutto il tempo della camminata, Carlo ci ha fotografato di modo che potessimo avere un ricordo della nostra esperienza, e abbiamo apprezzato veramente tanto questa trovata. Consiglio vivamente l’esperienza a chiunque volesse provare, principianti e non, personalmente era la prima volta che salivo su un cavallo e Carlo mi ha spiegato per bene come gestirlo, facendomi stare tranquillo per tutto il tempo.
