Stor tur

Denna turné började klockan 9.00. m. från kryssningsterminalen. Vi gick uppför berget för några underbara vyer. Vi ville se Blue Grotto, men båtturen (10 euro extra) var bara för att se några små grottor, trevliga men inte särskilt spännande. Vi var glada över att vi gjorde båtturen eftersom klostreturen var upptagen så alla var tvungna att gå uppför den branta backen och tillbaka igen. Längre upp på de slingrande vägarna stannade vi för en fantastisk utsikt och ett trevligt grekiskt mellanmål och en drink. Nästa var en presentbutik som hade massor av bra artiklar men priserna var lite högre än i stan. Avslutade turnén på Korfu och gick en trevlig promenad. Härlig stad med fantastisk utsikt över det fantastiska blå / gröna vattnet. Korfu verkade mindre turistisk, grovare och mer "bodde i", tyckte mycket om detta.

En liten grupp på 14 personer, guide var en långvarig bosatt i Mykonos. Han justerade vårt schema eftersom det fanns ett par stora fartyg den dagen och vi åkte platser och vägar som de stora bussarna inte kunde åka. Vi såg en hel del av ön och undvika de stora massorna av turister.

Corfu is amazing and I highly recommend going. This tour not so much. Soft spoken guide you could hear on the amplified bus but otherwise not at all. Information we could hear was monotone and disjointed. Tour was supposed to be 4 hours but was 5.5 instead. Extra time spent doing unnecessary shopping we could easily have done on our own. Meh.

It was a very informative. We toured the whole island and saw some beautiful scenery. We even were able to taste a drink made from kumquats, plus Greek wine and Ouzo.

This tour did not live up...

This tour did not live up to the explanation of the tour. The reason we booked the tour is so we could do the boat ride to the caves. It doesn’t even run when we took the tour. It would have been good to know as we would have booked a different tour. The bus ride into the mountain was not relaxing.

A comprehensive half day tour.

There were several parts to this trip and all were very good although quite crowded. We started with a small boat trip along the rocky cliffs and caves which was pleasant but not outstanding. The views on the drive to and from our restaurant snack stop were amazing. Our driver was very skilled and managed the tricky roads very well. Our guide was knowledgable and efficient with managing the guests. She continued guiding the group even off the bus for the last part in the Old Town. We added lunch and a visit to the old fort before returning to our cruise ship.

Deceptive description

The tour description is deceptive. Viator tours are usually good. This one wss way below expectations. The tour consists of a ride to the beach where you pay 10 euros a person for a boat ride to 2 caves and see interesting rock formations. The boat ride was nice. The ear pieces were broken and no replacement was available. We could not hear anything the guide said on the way to the beach as we were seated on the back of a full bus. Only passengers on the first 3 rows heard anything she said. I was under the impression we were getting a short tour of old town. All we did was to drive by the old castle. I suggest you change the tour description to actually match the experience.

From start to finish, it was a mess. I had to email twice before I got a departure time. Then, all these other groups were taken to buses and then when we finally got to ours, it was 3/4 full. The tour guide was rushing us out of the restaurant and was just not that good. The boat tour through the caves was slippery getting on and off and not a great idea for seniors., I liked what we visited, but not the tour.

What you should visit in this tour?

The most interested place to see is the old fortress and church of Ajios George, but only given little time to visit (we have to purchase the admissions which is fine). The scenes are nice, but not impressed (comparing to our stops at other ports). The store visits can be reduced. (Perhaps some people like this..., but one stop should be sufficient.)

Beautiful Corfu

Really enjoyed this trip to Corfu. My husband walks with a cane, but he was still able to take the boat ride with the help of a lot of people. Corfu is beautiful and not to be missed.

Corfu was beautiful and we enjoyed this tour. So happy we paid the 10 euro for the boat ride - it was a highlight! The vineyard was gorgeous and the volcano was compelling! Thank you!

Be Aware if Guide is Actually a Guide

This tour has the ability to be spectacular but the issue was we had a fill-in for our guide who was sick. Understandable things happen but what we hoped would be a tour with a lot of information turned out to be a tour with a person who admitted she was not a guide but would do her best. She communicates very little and was so inconsistent with the amount of free time at each stop. At our last stop we decided to tour the Fort in the city which was very interesting. She informed us we would be meeting back at the bus at 2:30 pm but then changed time to 2:15 pm while under pressure from other guests whose ship was departing at 3:00pm. Clearly this guide was unorganized and uninformed of her guests details as this tour came with a return to ship guarantee. So what happened next completely ruined our day as we returned to the meeting point to find our bus gone. While the company said they waited for 15 minutes we discovered later by another guess that the so called guide walked the others in and right back out of a church and then decided to tell them they had 20 minutes free time which then changed the departure time to 2:00 pm. So they may have waited but clearly this made us late. We had to pay then to get back to our ship. In this situation we should have had the option to cancel or certainly receive a discount as our tour was not a guided tour but a self-guided tour.
