Litchfield National Park Day Tour

We had such an incredible day on this tour! Dan was a brilliant guide, very knowledgeable about the area, and took us to some beautiful spots in the national park. Learned a lot and had an unforgettable experience that I would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed this day- our guide Aaron was so lovely and knowledgeable, and one of the swimming spots had nobody else there aside from our tour group. It’s a smaller tour group too, which really helps logistics and everyone chatting and swapping NT travel tips. Highly recommend.

We were sorry about the fact our day did not take place, we booked and paid for it, then in a matter of hours we were told it was cancelled. Then we had to get the refund, which in the end was no hassle…. But we were disappointed as we were looking forward to it.

Hi Margaret, You have booked through a third party booking agent. Which states minimum numbers are required. If you book your tour at midday the day before the scheduled departure date. Contact your booking agent or the company directly to see if the tour will be proceeding with the the tour, when booking with little notice. A tour cannot be run with just 2 people, which is why we have contacted you within hours to advise. If you have any issues please call our company. Regards Aaron

Had a wonderful day with Aaron as our guide. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. Taught us a lot about the local fauna and flora including medicinal uses of plants. We visited some beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes. Would definitely recommend this tour with Aaron.

Adventurous and relaxed day out

We had a great day with Aaron today. Although some swimming spots were closed off, Aaron knew all the spots to take us so that we could still go for a dip and cool off. He also had many interesting facts to share about the park and it's flora and fauna. It was an adventurous tour which wasn't rushed and I would highly recommend!

Great day exploring Litchfield

I spent a lovely day exploring Litchfield National Park on an overcast day in the wet season, where they received a lot of rain in the previous 24 hours, so a few things were closed. Our fearless leader Aaron did not let that dampen our day, and he took us on a whirlwind adventure with plenty of sights, two swimming spots, and countless wildlife. Aaron is full of information about the park and surrounding areas, and really cares about his guests and the park. Thanks for a great day, I'll be back next time I'm in Darwin.

Fantastic Family Trip

Beautiful day, especially for our child who loves to swim. We made a family trip of it and really enjoyed ourselves. Beautiful scenery, we learned a lot and enjoyed cooling off in the beautiful falls.

Great trip to Lichfield Park with a knowledgeable guide. It was a shame the butterfly farm was closed as I was looking forward to seeing them.

Hi Rebecca, Thanks for the review. Im glad you had a good trip out with us. Unfortunately we cant control what other businesses do in the wet season when you came, as there is not many tourists around compared to the dry season. The butterfly farm I dont believe was closed the day you came out. The owner is on holidays through the xmas and new years period. Butterflies only have a 2 week life span and the people looking after the place dont breed them. Hopefully we will see you again. Cheers Aaron

This was a gorgeous and beautiful experience. The swimming locations were straight out of a fantasy. Beautiful walks with surreal views. The guide was very informative and clearly loves his work ;) it made the whole day not only fun but it went by way too fast!! Perfect end to a perfect day - Butterfly Farm. Do it!!!

The water falls and pools were spectacular. Aaron was a thoughtful and knowledgeable guide and prepared a lovely picnic. More walking than we thought but worth it as we cooled in the pools and cascades. Lots of flys but ‘Tis the season!

Amazing tour, highly recommended

Had a awesome day at Lietchfield. Our driver/tour guide Aaran was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we had a very good day. He even went into the pool with us to take pictures for us. Tour started with on time pickup. On the way to the first fall, he stopped a couple of times to show us something. Visited 3 awesome falls in total and had time in each for a swim. At the first fall, he also prepared lunch (wraps which we could fill on our own). After the falls we saw the termite mounds followed by the last stop at the butterfly farm were we bought tasty Mango smoothies/daiquiri.

Must Do Experience at Litchfield National Park

We had such a wonderful time with our guide Aaron at Litchfield National Park. Aaron made the day so interesting and fun. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Darwin and told us all about the area as we travelled to Litchfield. He stopped along the way to show us plants, trees and termite mounds. Once at the park we had so many wonderful opportunities to swim, enjoy the surroundings and to learn more about the plants and animals found in Litchfield. We had a wonderful picnic lunch prepared by Aaron and enjoyed a stop at a quirky bar on the way home. It was truly a memorable experience.
