Vi älskade vår rundtur i Giverny med Fred. Vi har haft bekvämligheten med att plockas upp i Paris, köras till Giverny och köras tillbaka till staden. Vi anlände tidigt till Giverny och kunde njuta av grunderna innan de var fullpackade med turister. Fred var underbar och informativ! Jag rekommenderar starkt.

Our guide Clemence was wonderful. Getting there in the morning enabled us to miss the crush of people while we enjoyed the garden. By the time we got to Monet’s house, it was incredible it crowded, but that didn’t matter as much for the house. This tour was a trip highlight for sure. Not only are the grounds stunning, but the visit gave us a great deal of context for the art we saw in the Musée d’Orsay in Paris.

Good cost and Great Space

Great way to get to the gardens and house. You arrive about 30 mins before the general public (8 AM tour) and have the space all to yourself. Our guide showed us the best viewpoints for photographs. Tour is guided up to the house and after the photos, we were left to explore ourselves. A really great cost for what we enjoyed!

Overpriced and no guidance. Traveled 3+ hours for 40 minute view of house and gardens. Definitely not worth the time and money spent.

Fabulous trip to Giverny

I cannot recommend this tour tour enough. It was absolutely wonderful. Julian was our tour guide and made our trip. He is so knowledgeable and interesting and explains everything in such a thoughtful manner. In addition to Giverny, he showed us around the countryside and pointed out several WW2 important places.

The private car with pick up directly where we were staying was exactly what we were looking for. Our guide showed us around the garden and was friendly and helpful. Then we visited the house and the village on our own. A lovely way to make the trip. The site is crowded but well worth the trip.

The gardens were absolutely gorgeous. Being there in May I was a little skeptic we wouldn’t see a lot of blooming. We saw plenty. It reminded me of so many flowers we plant at home, but not in that magnitude. So glad we took the time to fit Monet’s home & gardens into our schedule.

Excellent knowledgeable guide

Lucille was an excellent guide, she picked us up early and was very effective in finding a route to avoid traffic so that we were able to get there in plenty of time. Once there she showed us the gardens and house and we learned a lot about how Monet lived at Giverny. On the way back she showed us the house where Monet first lived nearby before he moved to Giverny. This was a scenic route to show us more of the countryside and to avoid traffic. She is an excellent driver. The gardens are very beautiful at this time of year.
