Den vänliga föraren erbjöd oss en underbar tid i Heidelberg. Kunniga och alltid leende tittade oss runt i staden och berättade många historier om den. Sedan körde han till slottet och vi hade underbara vyer. Vi såg det största fatet för vin! ! ! Vi blev sedan eskorterade till gamla stan och julmarknaden. Tack Manfred. Vi hoppas att vi ses igen.

En födelsedag att minnas

Den 14 juni 2023 var min födelsedag och eftersom vi var på en flodkryssning på Rhen trodde vi att det var rätt väg att anlita en privat guide så att vi kunde se platserna och även fira i Heidelberg. Manfred var den perfekta guiden för oss. Som senior (min mamma är 93 år gammal och ville inte gå så mycket) hämtade Manfred oss vid fartyget och ledde oss runt i Heidelberg, underhöll oss med en historielektion i området och stannade till för en fantastisk lunch. Mer rundtur i Schwarzwald-området och sedan tillbaka till fartyget. En fantastisk födelsedag. Tack Manfred

Denna turné var underbar. Manfred kunde helt anpassa det efter våra intressen, och utöver det var en av våra passagerare rörelsehindrad, och han justerade omedelbart planen och destinationerna till platser där han kunde tillhandahålla hämtning och avlämning från dörr till dörr med minimerad gång för våra grupp. Han känner uppenbarligen till området som sin egen bukblomma, och när vi hade en förfrågan kände han lyckligtvis till den perfekta platsen. Going back in time to places that have a special meaning for my guests – be it because their ancestors once lived there, or because they lived there themselves some time ago – is always an exceptional experience for me as well. Especially when my "private detective skills" are in demand. But besides those abilities it always also needs a bit of luck which we had when that one man we met at the flower store went home and returned with the book with the title "Beerfelden im Wandel der Zeiten" (Beerfelden through the ages). There we found the name of the retired pharmacist Jürgen Frank. Luckily, he was not only home but invited us into his house to show us memorabilia and gave us some valuable insights in the history of the hometown of your forefathers. I hope you will come back on day and with great pleasure will I then be your man again.

Manfred is a professional. In preparing for a Rhine River cruise we wanted an excursion away from the boat and into the German countryside for the day. Manfred picked us up at our boat in Speyer, showed us around Heidelberg and then returned us to Mannheim. It was like meeting an old friend that wanted to show you around, engage in some local history, share a meal and laugh over stories. What a beautiful day and what a special new friend. From the initial booking and conversation, Manfred exceeded our expectations. We want to visit Heidelberg as we'd lived close to the city years ago and spent quite a bit of time there. Manfred ensured luxury and comfort in every aspect. Manfred ensured we arrived and was able to park our vehicle in a safe and easily accessible area. We visited Heidelberg Castle, Old Town Heidelberg, Hirschhorn, Dilsberg, and Speyer. Each tour was met with Manfred's wealth of knowledge...as he honored my request to go "off the beaten path". We are no longer tourist after residing in EU several times over the years, so he understood the request and honored it. The luxury transportation was our standard, so we didn't have to worry about having to settle. Manfred had water, and snacks on hand as well. We were able to get closer than most to sights and avoid crowds at all times. Manfred was beyond accommodating to changes in our schedule and changes in what we wanted to see. I have recommended this tour and his service to my colleagues already.
