Rizky gjorde ett bra jobb. Han var mycket professionell, flexibel för att anpassa resplanen till vad vi ville se och mycket kunnig om sin stad. Vår gata middagsupplevelse var en höjdpunkt. Vår förare var en pärla. Skulle starkt rekommendera denna turné och vår guide.

Thomas var kunnig, entusiastisk och har ett stort sinne för humor. Hans beskrivningar av och perspektiv på indonesisk historia gjorde turnén värt mödan. Jag är glad att jag fick möjligheten att åka på turné med Thomas. Jag har varit på andra Viator-turer och det här var det bästa på grund av Thomas!

Vi rekommenderar verkligen denna turné med Thomas vår guide, för alla som vill orientera sig i denna galet hektiska metropol. Thomas var extremt kunnig, artikulerad och engagerande. Han förklarade Jakarta i dess historiska sammanhang med mycket färg och anekdoter och väckte verkligen staden till liv för oss. Vi tror inte att vi kunde ha gjort det här på ett annat sätt eftersom Jakarta är den sortens plats som kräver en klok lokal för att visa oss staden. Tack Thomas!

Jakarta lyser upp på natten!

Jag bokade en hans sista minuten och var mycket nöjd med reseguiderna och platserna vi stannade till. Jag åt gatumat och i Chinatown mycket mer mat och shopping. Det fanns mycket att se, från hamnen till alla monument. Nationalmonumentet är stängt på måndag men guiden visste en plats för den perfekta bilden. Vänliga och trevliga människor med mycket historia och kultur. Den gamla staden var fylld av många människor där holländarna invaderade och byggde byggnader som nu är museer och indonesiska statliga hus och statliga byggnader. Skulle definitivt rekommendera! ! ! 4 . 5 timmar, kan vara längre med fler personer så planera för kanske 5 - 6 timmar beroende på gruppstorlek och trafik för att ta dig runt.

Rizky was our tour guide the tour was the best I have ever been on. it was full of info and good laughs. He took us to so many great places. What ever you do don't eat the king fruit but that was even a great experience. My wife and I took so many pictures and have memories to share for a long time. Thank you so much Rizky

Delightful Evening in Jakarta with Hertin

We had a wonderful tour around Jakarta at night with Ms. Hertin. She speaks English beautifully and is a wonderful ambassador for her country. Our cruise ship evening tour was sold out, and we feel so fortunate to have spent the night with Hertin. We loved to ask many questions, and she was knowledgeable and patient in her responses. She and her driver knew the backroads and shortcuts and took us to places a large bus could never have gone to. We loved the Jakarta chocolate pancake and testing the local fruit. We would highly recommend her as a guide. We would also like to say that the Ekaputra Tours through Viator were amazing. Booking the trip with short notice and then a request for an extended time. We received our guides WhatsApp contact information and everything ran smoothly.

Really enjoyed the tour with Jeffry. Always like to book a tour when travelling solo and sometimes they can be a bit rushed and “tick list” like - this wasn’t like that at all - it was super laid back, we walked around, soaked up the different areas and moved on when I was ready. We skipped over places I was less interested in, stopped for a drink and/ or paused to chat in a couple of places, and jeffry was fun to talk to and hang out with throughout and was willing to go with the flow. I saw places I wouldn’t have bothered travelling to in such a short trip otherwise, but am glad I saw. Thanks to Jeffry and Iwan - was a really chilled, low stress tour night driving around and seeing the different areas to get the Friday night vibe!

Totally Overpriced

Although the 2 x gentlemen who were my driver and tour guide were very lovely & tried their best, I didn't enjoy the tour at all. It was supposed to go for 4-5 hours.. I was back at my hotel in 2 hours...partly bcoz it started to rain and I didn't wish to walk around in the rain. So for $150 Australian I saw a Mosque, a church and National monument and the harbour with some rickety old boat that I could barely see bcoz it was surrounded by sandbags. The tour did take me to a place with markets etc and we were to walk around and sample Street food but I decided not to as it was raining. I also didn't realise that I would be alone with no other tourists. I felt safe but it lacked atmosphere. For $ 150 it was utterly overpriced. I could have jumped in a taxi and driven around for alot cheaper and the sites I saw weren't anything marvellous.

Hello Michelle, We apologize if the tour program did not meet your expectations. This product is a private tour, so no other tourists will join you. First, you feel disappointed because you cannot enter several locations (Monument & Mosque) because the places are closed at night, we have described this in the tour description. Second, you ask to skip several locations, especially the street food area & Old town Batavia, because of the rain, our guide has prepared an umbrella but you refuse to get out of the car and explore street food to try some typical Indonesian food/snacks and refuse to explore the Old Town Batavia too, and You are also not interested in Old Harbor because there are no activities at night, so you ask to be taken back to the hotel. Because you missed these 3 places, the tour duration be shorter than it should be. Once again, we apologize for what happened. The tour guide tried his best to run the itinerary as advertised but everything that happened was all out of our control. This will be a valuable lesson for us to improve our services going forward. Hopefully, this will not be a bad memory for you about tourism in Indonesia. Thank you very much for your review.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Night time Jakarta tour! My guide was Thomas and he was incredibly knowledgeable on the history of Jakarta. He spoke English very well and the tour was very informative. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to learn more about Jakarta's history and experience Jakarta at night time.

Thomas is a highly knowledgeable, wise, and kind tour guide. He provided tons of details (including historical and cultural background information) on the famous landmarks we visited and Jakarta neighborhoods we drove through during the evening. He is well versed in the history of his country, geopolitics, and cultural and religious traditions across Southeast Asia. His descriptions added a lot to my understanding about Jakarta, Indonesia, and its neighboring nations.

Excellent night trip! Visit to street market was very interesting. Our guide was very nice and told us lots of history of city and country. The boat yard at night was beautiful. Recommend if you have no time for tourists activities during the day.

Waste of time and money

The night tour was just a drive in the car. None of the places was open. The guide was lovely and friendly but this was not a tour just drive around. I will not recommend it to anyone. I felt it was a waste of time and money.

Hello Dasent, we really apologize and feel very sad if you didn't really enjoy this tour. The Jakarta night tour does not go into the national monument, mosque, and cathedral because they are closed at night, you can only visit it from the outside and our tour guide will take you to see it from the best side. We have included information in the tour description. when our tour guide offers you to stop and get out of the car to see the monuments, places of worship, and the old town of Batavia, you refuse because it's raining and you don't want to get wet even though our tour guide provides umbrellas, besides visiting monuments, places of worship and the old town of Batavia, Our tour guide takes you to visit the food and culinary street to try Jakarta pancakes and see snake and durian sellers according to the program offered. Once again we apologize if our service standards still cannot satisfy you, this will be a valuable lesson for us to improve our services going forward.
